Invitation to EUROCORR 2016EUROCORR, the annual event of the EuropeanFederation of Corrosion, is the premier CorrosionCongress in Europe, attracting an ever increasinginternational audience.

In 2016, EUROCORR will take place in Montpellier,France, from 11 to 15 September, 2016.Montpellier is a beautiful and charming Mediterraneancity, offering a blend of history, culture and modernity.Le Corum, Montpellier Conference Centre, is ideallylocated in the heart of the city, with a large choice ofhotels and restaurants within walking distance.After the success of EUROCORR 2004 and 2009 inNice, CEFRACOR and the Fédération Française pourles sciences de la Chimie (FFC), member Societies ofthe EFC, in cooperation with Chimie ParisTech, havebeen designated by the EFC to co-organize this majorevent. EUROCORR 2016 will cover all aspects ofcorrosion science, technology, and engineering,with emphasis on a main theme: Advances in linkingscience to engineering.

This will be achieved by bringing together corrosionexperts from universities, research centers, and indus-tries. EUROCORR 2016 will be a forum for presentationand discussion of advances in understanding corrosionphenomena and progress in corrosion prevention.

The program will include plenary lectures, keynotelectures, oral and poster presentations in all the areascovered by the EFC working parties, with additionaltopical workshops.A large exhibition is planned, which will feature thelatest developments in corrosion resistant materials,corrosion monitoring, coatings, inhibitors, cathodicprotection.

Social events, including receptions and a conferencedinner, will contribute to the warm and friendly atmos-phere that you will find in Montpellier.We are looking forward to welcoming you in Montpellierfor EUROCORR 2016. Please save the date!
