Bag Tabs (Make 2)

Row 1: Ch 6, sc in second chain from hook and across, turn. (5 sts)Row 2-14: Ch 1, sc in each stitch across, turn.

I-cord:

With red yarn chain 5, insert hook into second chain from hook, yo, pull up a loop; repeat for the re-maining chains. (5 loops on the hook)*Remove the first 4 left loops from the hook and pinch so they don’t move, or use a knitting needle or chop stitch to hold them. Chain the loop on the hook. Place the next loop to the left back onto hook and chain 1, repeating this step until all loops are back on the hook. Repeat from * until the i-cord is approx. 50 inches or desired length.

Assembly:

Wrap a bag tab around one of the rectangle purse rings, using a tapestry needle stitch the tab securely to one side of the bag. Wrap one end of the i-cord around the rectangle purse ring, using a tapestry needle stitch the tab se-curely in place. Fasten off and weave in all ends. Repeat for the other side of the bag.
