WHAT IS AN AMPHIBIAN? - Amphibians are vertebrate animals
characterized in most cases for suffering a metamorphosis, also in some cases are semi-terrestrial
BODY PARTS
-His skin is thin and moist, smooth or rough depending on the species, no hairs no scales.
-The eyes are large and protruding, allowing the amphibian hunt their prey easily.
HABITAT AND FEEDING
-In their first vital cicle they stand in the stand when they grow up they are semi-terrestrial.Their principal way of feed are insects, slugs, worms and spiders but in the larvae state they eat vegetables.
CURIOSITIES
1-The Japanese giant salamander is 1.5 meters long and weighs up to 25 kg.
2-The frog is the smallest frog flea. Is smaller than a fingernail! Gets to measure one cm long. This species was discovered in 1971.
OTHER CURIOSITY
- It is the most poisonous of all amphibian Earth. This frog exudes its poison is so powerful it can kill all your poison, to 1500. It's called "arrowhead frog" because native wet the tip of an arrow with its poison when hunting to kill the animal quickly.
