Mint Julep 6 cl Black Moose 100% Bourbon Whiskey 4 Fresh mint sprigs 1 Teaspoon powdered sugar 2 Teaspoons water In a highball glass gently muddle the mint, sugar and water. Fill the glass with cracked ice, add Bourbon and stir well until the glass is frost. Garnish with a mint spring. Whiskey Sour Before dinner cocktail 4.5 cl Black Moose 100% Bourbon Whiskey 1.5 cl Varadero Sugar syrup 3.0 cl Fresh lemon juice Dash egg white (Optional: if used shake little harder to foam up the egg white). Pour all ingredients into cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well. Strain in cocktail glass. If served ‘On the rocks’, strain ingredients into old-fashioned glass filled with ice. Garnish with half orange slice and maraschino cherry. With a long finish and a robust, full-bodied, able-bodied bourbon this would be an ideal addition to any bar. While most of the time sipping this one on the rocks, it is also true that the lighter flavor (but distinct) spirit is well suited to a whiskey and coke or an Old Fashioned.

100% BOURBON WHISKEY

THE BLACK MOOSE WHISKEY IS A SUBTLE AND COMPLEX CREATED BY AMIXTURE WITH A HIGH RYE CONTENT (AROUND 28%), CORN (68%) AND BARLEY MALT (4%). THE BLACK MOOSE BOURBON HAS A STRONG, SPICY CHARACTER, AND A CLEAN AND SMOOTH END, THIS WHISKEY IS AGED FOR 3 YEARS IN NEW BARRELS OF AMERICAN WHITE OAK. THE NOSE IS SLIGHTLY SPICY AND PUNGENT WITH JAM AND TOASTED OAK. THE PALATE HAS A FULL FLAVOR, WITH NOTES OF SPICY ORANGE, MAPLE WOOD AND NUTMEG. THE FINISH IS LONG AND DRY WITH ABUNDANT NOTES OF SPICES AND LIGHT HINTS OF CARAMEL.
