The Ameri-King AK-950R is o FAA TSO'd opproved RemoteReloy Assembly. lt is designed to provide SwitchingFunction, for HSI / CDI Doto Inputs, between NAV (VOR)Receiver ond the Approoched certif ied GPS Receiver.

The Assembly consisted of 24 Poles built in Reloys tosimplify instollotion of the Switching Function. All Reloyshove Gold ploted Contocts ond ore Nitrogen fi l led for highReliobil iry.

The AK-950-R consisted of 2 Subgroups of A ond B. Sub-group A includes 20 Poles Switching; o Foilure DetectionPole built- in; ond on ILS Auto Override (to reverse to NC(NAV) position upon ILS Frequency is iurned in). Sub-groupB includes 2 Poles Switching. Eoch Sub-group is controlledindependently.

Protection includes Input Power Reverse Polority, PowerTronsient. All Reloy Coils ore protected ogoinst EMI ondtronsient Switching.

Instollotion is extremely simple. All necessory Hordworesore provided, including o Moting Connector with MochineCrimoed Contocts.
