Early Release Day

Thursday, June 4th, is an early release day. Students will be released at 12:00 pm (noon). There will be no lunch served that day.

The Amazing Race - 5th Grade

Calling all volunteers! ... The Amazing Race needs your help!

In the Amazing Race, our 5th graders get to learn about 6 countries through games and entertainment - a fun experience to end the year!

Each 5th Grade class team will be traveling to 6 countries competing against each other through both mental and physical challenges. The challenges are timed and each country will include a detour. The team accumulating the most points wins.

This is event is made totally possible by parent and PTO volunteers! Thank you for your help!I

Fall Creek Parents and Guardians

If you have brought medicine into the nurse’s clinic for your child, it is your responsibility to have an adult pick the medicine up prior to June 4th.

Any medication not picked up, including inhalers and Epi pens, will be thrown away on June 5th.

MEDICINE WILL NOT BE SENT HOME WITH THE STU-DENT.

K-2nd enjoyed a great informational and entertaining show about China, “Asian Dance of America” presented by PTO Cultural Arts.

Kids had a chance to interact with the performers and watch beautiful dancing and acrobatics on May 15th.

Join us for the last Spirit Night at Chick-Fil-A (Wilson Rd.) of the year!! Wednesday, June 3rd from 3:00 to 8:00 pm. Fall Creek Elementary will receive 20% of all sales. You can dine in or drive through. Please remember to mention that you are there to support FCE.

This form is used to assist in tracking students who withdraw from school or who be-

come “no shows” in the fall.

A written, signed statement from the parent or guardian may also be acceptable docu-

mentation for students who transfer to another district.

Did You Know...?

Humble ISD is proud to offer our parents a convenient way to monitor their student’s progress online. The Home Access Center (HAC) is a “one-stop” portal to view your student’s schedule, attendance record, classwork, progress reports, report cards, registration information, and so much more. If you have multiple students in the district, you only need to create one account to access all your students. The HAC portal can be accessed from any smart phone or com-puter with a browser such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari.

Each year parents and guardians must complete an Annual Student Update registration for every student. Humble ISD is making this back-to-school registration process easier for dis-trict families with online Annual Student Update registration. Starting August 4th, the Annual Student Update will begin for the 2015-2016 school year. Parents and guardians will use their Home Access Center (HAC) account to enter Guardian and Emergency Contact Information, the Student Health Inventory, the Military Dependent form, the Department of Family and Protective Services form, Family Survey, Compulsory Attendance, and the Permission form. The parent will also acknowledge district policies. Annual Update must be accessed with In-ternet Explorer 9, 10, 11 (not in compatibility view), Firefox (current release plus 4 prior ver-sions), Chrome (current release plus 4 prior versions), or Safari 5.1.7. How to Get Started To create a HAC account, you must be designated as the student’s guardian and you must pro-vide a current email address. For Spanish speakers, you are able to have your HAC account displayed in Spanish if you chose your language of correspondence as Spanish during enroll-ment. If you need to be designated as a guardian, change or update your email address, or change your language of correspondence, please contact the registrar’s office {281-641-3400} to make these changes before proceeding to create a HAC account.

To register a new HAC account, you will navigate to the district’s home page at http://www.humbleisd.net/parents. There you will find links to instructions describing how to create a HAC Account.

Remember: The Annual Student Update registration for the 2015-16 school year will be done online through HAC - so please sign up before this school year is over!

Cafeteria News from Humble ISD Child Nutrition Department

Dear Parents:

Any balance that is in your child’s cafeteria account at the end of this year will follow your student to his or her new campus. That money will be availa-ble for the student on the first day of school. If your student attends summer school, the money will transfer to the summer school and any balance left af-

ter summer school will transfer to their school in August.

If your child will no longer be enrolled in a Humble ISD school or you would like your money refunded, please contact your current cafeteria manager. The campus manager will refund the remaining balance to you. You can re-ceive your refund in person or by sending a written, signed and dated request with your child. The last date to receive your refund is Wednesday, June 3, 2010 before noon. After that time, managers will deposit all remaining

cash and will be unable to make refunds.

Refunds may be made by check only during the summer months. You may request a check at the Child Nutrition Center located at 1705 Wilson Road,

Building D, Humble, Texas 77396.
