• Attach your race number to your running top

• Write yourself a checklist to ensure you have everything you require.

Race Warm-upThere will be official warm ups for both events which will take place where you line up on The Leeway outside the South Stand. Please check the timetable on page three.

Riverside 5k line up The elite runners will line up at the front, thereafter, the assembly area will be split into 4 groups, Sub - 20 Minute Finishers, Sub - 25, Sub - 30, and Happy to Finish. If you wish to run with a friend or relative who is slower than you, then it is important you line up in the slower grid.

Riverside 2k Fun Run line upFor safety reasons, it is important you line up in the most appropriate place. If you are a strong, quick runner then line up near the front. If you intend to run all the way at a steady pace then line up in the middle and if you are a slow runner/jogger/walker please line up towards the rear. Everyone taking part in the 2k Fun Run is required to have a race number for health and safety reasons. This can be a valid 2018 Fun Run or a 5k Riverside Run number.

charity and by working together we strive to ensure that all the events are a success for Middlesbrough and that all local good causes are well supported.

On Sunday 1st July most of the associated charities will have a stand within the East Concourse area in the Riverside Stadium, giving you the opportunity to talk to staff/volunteers and learn more about your chosen charity.

Please come along and Run, Walk or Jog the route and support local people. This year’s lead charity is South Tees Hospitals Charity.
