The Acadian life was hard in some ways. They were farmers which would be because you would need to work the crops, and later they had England attacking them for nothing, so that would have been very hard for the Acadians.

On July 11, 1764, the British government passed an order into the council to permit the Acadians to legally return to British land , provided that they take an unqualified oath of allegiance. The Acadians were allowed to return to British land because the war was over.
