JOB Responsibility

This involves;• Meeting job expectations.• Fulfilling daily work duties.• Etc.

Clarity of JOB DESCRIPTION will spell out the employee’s responsibilities.With it in a written form, it can also be a reference for future use.

To ensure effectiveness of the stated job responsibilities.Leaders will conduct performance evaluation.

This will help the leaders;• Implement discipline• Provide appreciation• Identify training gaps• Etc.


MUTUAL Responsibility

• Between all members of the workforce in which they share and have to one another the same responsibility.

• Everyone is responsible for reporting illegal or suspicious behavior and policy violations.

• Everyone has the responsibility of living up to the corporate code of ethics.

The Company’s MISSION, VISION, VALUES and WORK CREED is one example of MUTUAL Responsibility.


SELF Responsibility

• which refers to each employee taking responsibility for his own actions outside of normal job duties.

• related to accountability, which requires workers to;• accept blame for their errors or omissions• acknowledge the successes and contributions

of others.

WORKERS=Responsible for dealing with their colleagues

SUPERIORS=Must be Honest with Integrity


Responsibility towards SAFETY

• Refers to legal responsibilities of the employer to provide a safe work environment and implement safety guidelines for their employees.

• Workers also bear responsibility for a safe workplace. This includes;• Reporting safety violations• Following prescribe safety guidelines• Wearing PPE• Etc.

• SAFETY is everybody’s concern. SAFETY is everyone’s responsibility.
