It replaces the pole piecewith a permanent magnet

The A8’s contour “magnet poles” are created using a unique magnetic material formulation. “Contour magnets” replace permeable material (iron) in the core, increasing the ux in

the gap and stopping uxmodulation.

The motor now has full linear power from subsonic to the highest musical overtones. All from a single 10.85mm driver.

We believe the A8 & its descendants will change the way dynamic drivers are made!

Coil

The permeable pole piece is placed on the end of the magnet to concentrate the magnetic ux. The coil and pole form an inductor and an electromagnet, which are modulated by the signal they are trying to reproduce.

They, in turn, modulate the ux in the gap in which the coil resides. This creates “Flux Modulation Distortion”.
