Pop Culture• Similar to today, famous people in

the nineties got into trouble, which was broadcasted.

• The following tells a few of those stories that just so happened to all take place in 1993.– In LA, rapper Snoop Dog was

arrested by the Los Angeles Police Department in connection with a drive-by shooting.

– In Ohio, a woman claimed that the Beavis and Butthead carton caused their five-year-old son to set the fire that torched their trailer park home and killed his two-year-old sister.

– The LAPD was also investigating allegations that Michael Jackson molested a twelve-year-old boy.

the United States of America was elected. George Herbert Walker Bush was elected over Ronald Reagan.

• He was inaugurated on January 20th, 1989.

• Clinton won with forty-seven percent of America’s vote, leaving Bush with thirty-seven point four percent, and Perot with eighteen point nine percent.

• In the past, people focused of a car design had style and speed, but in the 1990’s consumers were more interested in a car of safety and quality.

– In 1997, researchers in Edinburgh, Scotland created a lamb named Dolly, from a single cell of an adult sheep. They called this practice cloning.

– By 1998, more than 45 million people were wired into the World Wide Web.

• Oil and gas were discovered in many countries, leading to economic growth and wider adoption of trade between nations.
