In the context of economic globalization that highlights international R&D and technology transfer, China's burgeoning economy is now ushering in an unprecedented opportunity. Located in the Yangtze River Delta on China’s eastern coastal area and neighboring Shanghai, Jiangsu is one of the regions in China with most rapid economic growth and the highest level of openness and vitality. With a tremendous industry foundation and enormous market potential, Jiangsu has become an important manufacturing base in China and even across the world and has witnessed the thriving of new energy, new materials, bio-medicine, next generation information technology, advanced equipment manufacturing and other strategic emerging industries in recent years. In 2015, the GDP of Jiangsu exceeded RMB 7,000 billion(about USD1,100 billion), and the total volume of import and export surpassed USD 540 billion, both taking the leading place in China. Jiangsu boasts strong capacity of science and technology, active technological innovation initiatives of enterprises, strong aspiration for international technology cooperation, comprehensive intellectual property rights protection system and favorable policy climate for international cooperation. Its regional innovative capacity has been ranking the first place in the country for seven consecutive years. Through decades of development, Jiangsu has established collaborative relationships of science and technology with over 70 countries and regions in the world: It has built the cooperation framework of industrial R&D with related countries and regions of Israel, Finland, UK, Canada and Australia, and formed close partnerships with local government, prestigious universities, research institutes and multinational corporations including National Technological Innovation Authority of Israel, Tekes of Finland, Innovate UK, Technology Agency of Czech, Tomsk of Russia, Ontario of Canada, Victoria of Australia, MIT, Oxford University, IBM, Siemens, etc. Jiangsu has become one of the best places in China for global enterprises and research institutes to carry out R&D cooperation, technology transfer and commercialization. Since 2008, Jiangsu has successfully organized four sessions of CITTC, and the conference has become a branding activity of international technology cooperation and exchange with the largest scale and broadest influence in China. The Ministry of Science and Technology of China (MOST) and Jiangsu Provincial Government have decided to jointly hold the 5 th CITTC, in a bid to continuously advance the Open Innovation in Jiangsu province.

Establish the Innovation Cooperation Network

Deepen the Key Innovation Cooperation Partnership

Improve the Industrial Open Innovation Capacity

Advance the international technology transfer and cooperation comprehensively. Establish the partners network connecting with the global industrial innovation resources. Promote Jiangsu to take part in global R&D innovation on the basis of mutual bene�t. And facilitate more transformations and industrialization of overseas advanced technologies and projects in Jiangsu. Universities, research institutes, multinational corporations and technology

transfer agencies will deliver brie�ngs on their technology information, technical resources and cooperative proposals.

Partner institutes will conduct workshop focusing on advanced manufacturing and other priority �elds.

One-to-one meetings will be arranged between international organizations and Jiangsu enterprises based on online appointment and interactions prior to the Conference in the priority �elds. (Time: 5 hours. Scale: 300 pairs of one-to-one meetings with 20 minutes for each pair)

Priority �elds: New generation information technologies, new materials and nanotechnology, intelligent manufacturing and advanced equipment, bio-medicines and healthcare, clean technologies and urbanization, modern agriculture.

2-3 site visit options will be provided for international representatives to industrial parks and enterprises with international cooperation demands.

Experts with high-level technical expertise;

Representatives from international innovation-based organizations;

Representatives from famous international technology transfer agencies;

Representatives from Jiangsu high-tech enterprises;

Representatives from start-up communities, innovation and science parks in Jiangsu;

Representatives from municipal and county-level government organizations.

To provide information on the technology demand and cooperative intentions of Jiangsu enterprises in priority �elds;

To assist international organizations in identifying partners and delivering their technology information;

To provide services for technology transfer negotiations and follow-up;

To facilitate international technology transfer agencies and research institutes to set up business operations in Jiangsu, and establish the close partnership with Jiangsu.

The Conference will invite 200 international representatives and 400 representatives from China.
