This acoustic duo draw on musical savvy and experience combined with a relaxed and spontaneous stage presence

July 12 – Rosemary Lawton & Ellen Power (folk duo) !

Classically-trained violinist Rosemary Lawton combines her talents with E l l e n P o w e r , a s i n g e r a n d storyteller whose

performances are rooted in the oral tradition of Placentia Bay. Many of the duo’s arrangements are based on ethereal vocal harmonies inspired by the island’s tradition of unaccompanied ballad singing. Rosemary and Ellen aim to bring new life to the forgotten folk songs and classic fiddle tunes of Newfoundland. !!July 26 –  Pamela Morgan (singer/songwriter) !

P a m e l a M o r g a n , former lead singer of Figgy Duff – one of the c o u n t r y ’ s m o s t innovative folk/rock groups – has been a leading performer in the Celtic music scene for the almost forty years. For nineteen y e a r s , P a m e l a a n d
