01 Mike Curb congratulates Alexander Rossi on

his victory at the historic 100th running of the

Indianapolis 500. This was Curb’s second victory

at the Indianapolis 500. It was also his seventh

victory, 25th Top 5 and 50th Top 10 at the

Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 6 different racing

divisions.

in the IMSA Weathertech United SportsCar Championship driving for

Shank/Curb-Agajanian. The Shank/Curb-Agajanian team finished

Top 10 in the 2016 24 Hours of LeMans LMP2 and Top 15 overall. The

team also scored an overall podium finish at the historic 2016 Watkins

Glen race.At the end of the 2016, the team achieved a major victory at

Petit Le Mans at Road America.

03 Dave Darland wins the 2016 Lawrenceburg, Indiana USAC Sprint

Car National race

04 Michael Lewis sweeps the two Pirelli World Championship events

at the 2016 St. Petersburg Grand Prix

05 Daryn Pittman, Kasey Kahne, Brad Sweet and Mike Curb.

Sweet and Pittman scored major victories in 2016 including the Volusia

(Daytona) Nationals, the Texas Outlaw Shootout, the SoCal

Showdown as well as victories in New Egypt, Tucson and the Knight

06 Donny Schatz wins the 2016 All Star Circuit of Champions as well

as World of Outlaws victories at the Volusia DirtCar Nationals,

Knoxville, IA, the Outlaw Showdown in Las Vegas, Western Spring

Shootout in Stockton, CA and the Mini Gold Cup in Chico, CA and

Kings Royal at Eldora, driving for Stewart/Curb-Agajanian

07 Bobby Santos wins 2016 NASCAR Modified All-Star Shootout.

08 Bobby Santos wins his 6th NASCAR Modified race for Tinio/Curb

Records at the historic Thompson Speedway in 2016.

09 During the week following the historic 100th running of the

Indianapolis 500 the Kunz/Curb-Agajanian team won all five USAC

Indiana Midget Week races with drivers Kyle Larson, Rico Abreu,

Christopher Bell, Spencer Bayston and Tanner Thorson. Thorson also

swept the 2016 POWRi Missouri Mid-State Nationals and Carson

Macedo won the 35th Annual Pepsi Nationals..

10 Rico Abreu wins the historic Kokomo Midget finale in 2016. Abreu

also finished top 10 in his NASCAR truck debut season at Martinsville

and Texas, and a podium finish at Eldora, driving for Thorsport/Curb

Records.

11 Rico Abreu wins the 2016 Chili Bowl Nationals driving for

Kunz/Curb-Agajanian

12 Todd Gilliland wins the 2016 NASCAR K&N East New Smyrna,

Florida race driving for McAnally/Curb-Agajanian. Julia Landauer

has driven the team car to five Top 10 finishes in the 2016 K&N West

Series.

13 Santiago Urrutia wins the 2016 Indy Lights Grand Prix of Road

America and the Alabama Grand Prix driving for Schmidt/Curb-

Agajanian. Urrutia also was the runner-up at both of the 2016

Indianapolis Grand Prix races.

ON THE 30TH ANNIVERSARY OF FOUNDING TEAM AMERICA,

TEAM USA SUCCEEDS IN WORLD CUP SOCCER FINALS

Robert K. Lifton and Lorretta played a major role in Mike’s decision to run for office. Bob was a real mentor to Mike, as well as a close friend. Bob and Loretta remain close friends to this day.

Original Team America soccer ball. Mike Curb was proud to join his

long time friend Robert Lifton as an original partner in the formation of

Team America which started in 1983 in Washington, D.C. while Curb was

chairman of the National Finance Committee for Ronald Reagan. Mike said,

“Lifton is probably the smartest man I’ve ever met and one of the great

visionaries and entreprenuers in our country. Team America laid the

groundwork for Team USA and soccer has now become even more popular

in the USA.”
