Dear Rotarian,The feeling of deja vu engulfs me as I write this column in the lighthouse that was once my baby. Here’s a thought for you to ponder on.Imagine there is a bank, which credits your account each morning with Rs 86,400, carries over no balance from day to day, allows you to keep no cash balance, and every evening cancels whatever part of the amount you had failed to use during the day. What would you do? Draw out every pence, of course!Well, everyone has such a bank. Its name is Time.Every morning, it credits you with 86,400 seconds. Every night it writes off, as lost, whatever of this you have failed to invest to good purpose. No balance CARRIED FORWARD. No overdraft. Each day it opens a new account for you. Each night it burns the records of the day. There is never enough time. So Live every moment of 2016 to the fullest. Be Good, Do Good. May the new year bring with an abundance of happiness, prosperity and peace.Happy New Year.Rtn. Vidya Amarnath
