• The first American Thanksgiving was held in Plymouth (普利茅斯 --英国一座城市 )in 1621.A group of Pilgrims left England to explore the New World and they took the ship called “Mayflower” with 102 men, women and children. After 65 days at sea, due to poor food, hard work, infectious diseases and bitterly cold weather, half of them died. Finally, only about 50 remained alive.
