GAC Prep Team: Mary Sue Berkeley, Liz Ditfurth, Janice Dunn, Kristina Martin, Devron Suttle Community Volunteers: Mayor Bailey and Family, Bill Chamberlain, Liz Ditfurth, Johnson Family, Victoria Avenue Forever Results: Our thanks to over 700 KRCB volunteers for their helping hands and great enthusiasm in completing the following projects: The Graffiti Eradication Team used 20 gallons of paint to eradicate over 300 tags. Volunteers planted 8 varieties of Citrus trees and 10 Crape Myrtle trees at the Casa Blanca Home of Neighborly Service and Villegas Park as part of our Arbor Day Celebration Volunteers collected over 19,000 lbs. of litter, green waste and bulky items at 36 locations in seven Council Wards and six Business Councils throughout the city. Clean Campus Competition: (April 1 - 21) 27 Schools from Alvord Unified School District, Riverside Unified School District and Private Schools completed 427 total projects with an estimated 12,473 student participants. Clean Campus Competition students collected 2,943 lbs. of litter, recycled 3,582 bins of recyclable products and planted 981 plants to beautify their campuses.
