    Hello Everyone,The Irish are in town!!!!!

    This event is free to the public!!!!

    I wanted to take this final opportunity to thank a few people who have worked with me toline everything up to make this 1st annual Authentic Ireland Festival a truly memorableevent.

    OMore College and Dr.Mark Hilliard have been instrumental in helping me these pastfew months. Thank you so much to Dr. Hilliard and the staff and students of OMore

    College.

    Thanks to the local musicians and dancers who have donated their talents to the 1stannual Authentic Ireland Festival. We really do appreciate their support and talent.

    A very special thanks to Chad Vance of www. Hobnobfranklin.com for being our mediasponsor this past week. He has worked tirelessly to promote the festival withtremendous success and is an all-around great person.

    Id like to mention Lance Yelvington ofhttp://www.cybercountry.com/ for all his help inthe final festival setup details. Thank you Lance and I miss Jeannie!!

    Thanks to all the local media and their generous coverage of the upcoming festival.

    Thanks to all the vendors, especially those from Memphis who have worked so hard topromote the festival and who changed their schedules to be in Franklin to support our 1stannual festival. Thank you Memphis!!

    I am grateful to the local vendors for sponsoring water and sodas for the volunteers andthe artists.

    I also appreciate the facepainters, Rob the Balloon Guy and Roger and Soldier fromwww.minidonks.comfor their participation in out festival.

    And lastly, a heartfelt thanks to Davis Watson for working with me to have the AuthenticIreland Festival play host the premiere of Good Piping. It is an honor. Congratulations tohim on a wonderful achievement. Tim Ryan Buckley, founder of the Middle TennesseanHurling Club has also been an integral part of the Authentic Ireland Festival. Thanks toTim and his team for their support of our festival and we look forward to seeing them inaction over the festival weekend.

    Last minute details, Gaelic lessons are now available from 10am to 12noon, 2pm to 4pmand 4pm to 5pm on Saturday and on Sunday morning, 11am to 12noon.

    OMORE GROUNDSMiddle Tennessee Hurling Club Various team / solo demonstrations of the sportbetween 12noon and 5pmWe are a new Gaelic Hurling team forming in the Middle Tennessee area. Currentlymembers range from 19-29 years old. Some attend community college while othersattend Middle Tennessee State University. We are merely weeks old but growing fastwith very driven and dedicated athletes.
