Positive Recognition Week We’ve had lots of fun for our Autumn term’s Positive Recognition Week! Student success has been recognised throughout the week with a Christmas film and popcorn, chocolate and postcards home! Success was recognised in a number of categories, including; the highest number of gold stars, a minimum of 97% attendance, sporting and extra-curricular achievements, SLT and Pastoral Year Leader nominations for contributions to the Ossett Academy community .... and more! Very well done to everyone who was recognised throughout the week! Latest edition of Ossett Voice… Find out what we’ve been up to this term, in our Autumn edition of Ossett Voice! Thank you for the music! Thank you and well done to our superb singers who entertained their audience at Monday’s Carol Concert, whilst raising money for the Children’s Society! …..And well done to our Ossett Uke-ademy members who visited Ossett War Memorial Community Centre this week to entertain the ‘Wednesday Club’ at their annual Christmas lunch, receiving some wonderful feedback!! Visions of peace and hope Art Club students received certificates and prizes this week for their contributions to the Lions Clubs International Peace Poster Competition which afforded them the chance to express their visions of peace and inspire the world through art and creativity! Very well done to you all for your achievements and for such a high quality of work!
