Mary BulatSales Representative
R: 519-945-5774C: 519-982-6409
Thank you everyone for your 2019 Priests Pension Fund donations.
Among the 5 Families of Parishes, $7,890.00 was collected and sent to the
Diocese of London. On behalf of all the retired priests', THANK YOU!
I wish to express my sincere thanks to the members of the Knights of
Columbus who volunteered their time and energy in helping the priests
move from Most Precious Blood to St. Theresa's and helping Father Tom
move from St. Theresa's to Sts. Cyril and Methodius rectory.
Your help was very much appreciated!
As we get all revved up with September activities returning next week,
I wish to let everyone know that Father Len has become the Chaplain to
all the Knights of Columbus within our Family of Parishes. I will remain
the Spiritual Advisor to the Catholic Women's Leagues within the Family
of Parishes.
This past week we all met together and in our planning discussion it was
agreed to reach out and invite all the men and woman from Sts. Cyril's &
Methodius , St. Theresa's, San Juan Diego, Most Precious Blood, and Our
Lady of Guadalupe to consider joining the Knight of Columbus and
Catholic Women's League of Canada. More information will
follow.
Have A great week.

SPIRITUAL REFLECTION You’ve probably seen cartoons by Dan Reynolds in Reader’s Digest and on greeting cards. He has one in which St. Peter is locked outside the Pearly Gates — using a fishing rod to try and snag his big key ring through the bars. If you’ve ever locked yourself out of the house, you can relate. Today’s Gospel warns us: “After the master of the house has arisen and locked the door, then will you stand outside knocking and saying, ‘Lord, open the door for us.’ He will say to you in reply, ‘I do not know where you are from.’ ” No one wants to be locked out. Jesus urges us to enter the kingdom through the “narrow gate.” If the key to heaven is love, then we must keep that key close to our hearts. Humility also helps. Those who exalt themselves will never be able to squeeze through the humble door that leads to life.
Are you or any one you know interested in becoming Catholic, completing the sacraments or wanting to learn more about the Catholic Faith? Our RCIA program may be the place for you!
Father Greg
