129TH ANNUAL MEETING | WILLIAMSBURG
The Virginia Bar Association | www.vba.org
Dear Guests and Fellow Members:
Marie and I welcome you to the 129th Annual Meeting of The Virginia Bar Association in beautiful Colonial Williamsburg. Not only are 13 substantive educational sessions of value to lawyers and judges planned for Friday and Saturday, but the schedule also provides ample opportunities for you to socialize with your colleagues.
You will certainly want to attend the Thursday evening Opening Reception to relax and converse with old friends and meet new ones. At our Friday evening black-tie banquet, the VBA will present selected awards. Please join us after the program for dancing to Strictly Bizzness.
Saturday morning begins with our Annual Business Meeting, where we thank those who have served the association in the last year and welcome new leadership. Please plan to join our Past Presidents and me as we install our 131st President, Richard E. Garriott, Jr., and elect the 2019 class of VBA Governors to our Board.
As we come to the close of my term as President of The Virginia Bar Association, I want to extend a thank you to all for your continued support of the goals and objectives of our association. Only through these efforts will we continue to provide programming and services that benefit our members, the legal community and Virginians at large.
Warmest regards,
C. J. Steuart Thomas, IIIPresident
