7th International Conference on Polyolefin Characterization
Sponsors Report www.icpc-conference.org
What to know about Sponsoring the International Conference on Polyolefin Characterization
The ICPC is intended to contribute to the scientific community by broadening the knowledge and comprehension of polyolefin characterization. We believe that sharing know-how and experiences give way to the generation of ideas, problem solving, and an overall improvement of existing techniques.
Because this is a non-profit conference, it cannot be possible without the financial support of the Sponsors and Vendors. By sponsoring the ICPC, you are contributing to progress and development of more techniques and better methods for the characterization of polyolefins, ultimately benefiting the entire market and society.
We hope we can count on your support for future ICPC editions to continue adding value to the community.

The International Conference on Polyolefin Characterization is the only conference specifically focused on Polyolefin Characterization, since most of the existing related conferences deal with catalyst and reaction engineering. The ICPC covers different aspects on polyolefin molecular architecture characterization, including molar mass distribution, comonomer incorporation and distribution, long chain branching, crystallinity and rheological properties. Held every two years, the location of ICPC rotates among Houston, Valencia and Shanghai, all of them close points to major petrochemical markets.
The latest ICPC Edition took place in Houston (TX), and counted with the participation of 150 attendees from 16 countries across the world representing leading industry institutions. The 7th opened on kicked off with the Short Course on Polyolefin Characterization Techniques, which had a record breaking attendance of 67 attendees. This first meeting concluded with a Welcome Cocktail at the Hotel.
Keynote Speaker Jennifer Ronk, Dow Plastics and Specialty Packaging, opened the Technical Program the next day with the title “Plastics Recycling in a Circular Economy”. 34 Oral Presentations followed during the three-day conference. The subjects covered included: Separation, Rheology, Spectroscopy and Additivation, Modeling, and Properties/Structure.
The Poster Session took place on Monday 22, and it included a one-minute oral presentations for those who wanted to encourage visits to their posters. A total of 35 posters were presented after the oral introductions, and a reception was held during the session.
On Tuesday there was a special slot allocated to the Vendors, and their commercial presentations. A cocktail was hosted later to solve any questions and provide further information.
