Keynote Presentation Matt Pazaras, SVP Strategy, Milwaukee Bucks Matt Pazaras is the Senior Vice President of Business Development & Strategy for the Bucks, overseeing all aspects of

sales and account management for Bucks sponsors and partners, generating new business while maintaining strong relationships with the team’s clients. Matthas had experience in several leadership roles within the sports industry prior to joining the Bucks. He served as vice president of corporate partnerships and sales for Raptor Sports Properties, which works with sports properties around the globe – including Italian soccer team AS Roma – to maximize their revenue. He also spent time with the New Jersey Nets as director of marketing, where one of his major accomplishments was leading the positioning and presentation development for the arena naming rights that were sold to Barclays Capital upon the team’s move to Brooklyn. Pazaras began his career at Madison Square Garden where he spent 8 years as manager of Knicks marketing partnerships

Jadey has been with Paladin in a variety of roles for the past 15 years. Prior, she started her career in advertising sales including overseeing national advertising sales for one of the Chicago Tribune’s niche publication. In addition to recruiting and sales, Jadey has worked within outplacement with Drake Beam Moran.

Jadey is married with two girls. Outside of work and family, she is actively involved in professional associations, various book clubs and is currently volunteering as an adviser for a hyper-local publication which is launching in her community. Kelly Christiansen is a Senior Marketing Strategist for Health Care at Kahler Slater, where she and her team enthusiastically partner with clients to face the future by designing health care experiences that are forward thinking, highly efficient and beautifully differentiating. Kelly has worked in healthcare for multiple Chicago-based agencies including: Corbett, Havas Life and Laughlin Constable. She has developed and implemented strategic marketing plans for a variety of healthcare organizations, various pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers and more. Kelly also led an award-winning multichannel campaign for the University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System. For her #sidehustle, Kelly is a top columnist for a young professional website, MsCareerGirl.com, where she offers insights on topics such as career, health, self-improvement, relationships, finance and fashion. A 2005 honors Communications graduate of DePaul University, Kelly is delighted to be back in her hometown of Mequon, WI, where she graduated from Homestead High School.

Panelist| Jenna Trusso| Microbial Discovery Group |Marketing Specialist Joining Microbial Discovery Group in 2015, Jenna Trusso acts as the marketing specialist. In her current role, she is responsible for managing and executing all marketing efforts and strategic solutions. Prior to joining Microbial Discovery group. Jenna held various marketing internship positions with companies such as GE Healthcare and Oliver Wyman. She graduated in May of 2015 from Carthage College with a dual degree in Marketing and Business Administration.

Breakout Sessions Following the Career Panel students will adjourn to classrooms for Breakout Sessions. The sessions are highly interactive discussions that will dive deeper into a specific aspect of marketing.

Bio: Sara Deschner has been a lecturer in Information Technology at the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater since 2006. Prior to joining the university, Deschner had worked in the IT field for over 10 years.Deschner continues to work with several small companies to improve their business through IT solutions. She also has research interests in block chain technology, ERP implementation and using digital marketing to benefit small businesses and communities.

Brent Hahn PPC Advertising Manager, Rocket Clicks

Bio: Brent is the PPC Advertising Manager for Rocket Clicks, a boutique PPC and SEO agency located in Menomonee Falls, WI. A 2011 graduate from UW-Whitewater, Brent’s interest in digital marketing was piqued by a class guest speaker that discussed the growing opportunities in online marketing. After completing a social media internship with a local company, Brent joined Rocket Clicks through their Analyst intern program. He also worked

as a paid search and marketing analyst for two retailers before returning to the Rocket Clicks team in his current role. Brent enjoys the evolving digital marketing landscape and loves to dig into the data to spot new trends and see near instant performance results. When he is not advocating for the use of a spork to eat Mac N Cheese, Brent likes to dream about how fast he could get to Australia with the superpower of flight!

Ben Page Director of PPC, Rocket Clicks

Bio: Ben is the Director of PPC for Rocket Clicks, a boutique PPC and SEO agency located in Menomonee Falls, WI. Ben’s fascination with digital marketing originated from a personal interest in building his own website. After graduating with an IT degree, Ben got his start working for a digital marketing startup in the Chicago suburbs on the strategy and design of ecommerce websites primarily in the automotive industry. As Director of PPC, Ben works with a team of analysts to help clients drive conversions and build brands using ecommerce and search engine marketing strategies. He loves the fast-paced,

ever-changing nature of the digital marketing industry and the unique challenge this brings to each day. While Ben is a superhero in the PPC industry for his partners and team members, he wishes he had the superhero power of invisibility!

Prior to joining ULINE, she worked at Starcom IP as a digital media buyer for accounts including Allstate and U.S. Army. Mackenzie has served on the Board of Trustees for the Midwest Marketing Educational Foundation (MMEF) since 2004 serving as the Treasurer since 2014. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Illinois and later earned an MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

As an I-Mentor at UW-Whitewater Innovation Center, Community Based Learning Fellow and Social Impact Advisor for AMA and ENACTUS, John runs innovation programs that have a positive social impact on students, corporations, and communities around the world. John has consulted with many Fortune 500 companies and successfully launched over 150 new products; two had sales of over $1 billion. Recent projects include Combat Blindness, Hydroponics for Honduras, Mary Ann Memick Leadership program for Catholic teachers and Janesville Business Challenge. John holds a MBA from Indiana University and a BS degree in Biology and Chemistry from Western Michigan University. He lives with his wife in Madison, Wisconsin.

Topic: My Life as a Data Scientist Ryan Snedden Senior Manager, Walgreens

Bio: Ryan Snedden brings 20 years of data and analytics experience to his current role as Sr. Manager at Walgreens. Prior to Walgreens, he worked at Crate & Barrel for 7 years as the Marketing Modeling Manager. His career has been dedicated to organizing, building, analyzing and providing actionable insights on some of the largest datasets available in the retail industry. He received his MS in Computer Science from DePaul University with an emphasis in Database Systems and Data Analytics and a BBA in Marketing from The University of Iowa.
