Vision Tour April 27th – 30th

20+ people from all over California will spend a couple of days in the Feather River area to see the ministry of a small rural association. We will

be a spotlight to the rest of the state. The tour will be in 3 teams traveling to multiple churches; seeing, assisting and praying for each ministry and pastor. The tour will gather a list of needs to assist churches ie. Work

projects, teams for event evangelism, supplies for community ministries and partnerships.

What have I been doing as your missionary? Whew! The past 3 months have been a ride!

After our association & CSBC annual meetings, we had a Halloween Safe-Street Carnival

with over 380 in attendance, 77 Gospel presentations & 6 salvations –Praise Him! November,

I led an EBI class, Simple Church, and planned for our mission trip. After the Turkey Day

food & football, December had 5 churches working together for a Christmas Outreach with

@320 attending. I hope to see more outreaches with these churches working together.

We had a blessed Christmas and left for the Philippines Mission Trip returning on the 6th

of

January. What an experience! (see the article). We just finished our 2017 planning for FAITH

Ministry, and now I’m off to take 10 to the worship conference in Livermore. Next, we are

working with partnerships, Easter events, Student missionaries, & Missions Camp – Woohoo!

FBC Westwood and Portola Station Bapt. had flood damage from the recent winter storms.

Loyalton Community Church Elder Bill & Sue Loveridge will be teaching in the Philippines

for 3 months this spring.

Log Cabin Church Janesville has called as Pastor Steve Tank & his wife, Kathie.

Please keep them in prayer for leadership & health.

Pastor Dennis Fowler in Merrill, OR has done a few community outreach events and planning

more through the spring and summer.

Ministers’ Wives Retreat Ending the Masquerade, May 19-21, Jenness Park (CSBC)

Student Missionaries will be available June 19th – July 29th. They can assist your church with

evangelism events and Vacation Bible Schools. Reserve dates ASAP.

Missions Camp will be July 23 – 27. Children 3rd-6th grades & Youth 7th -12th grades.

Area Missionary News

Philippines Mission Trip FAITH Ministry had 3 adults & 2 teenagers with 4 from FBC Sparks, NV go on a mission trip to Coron, Palawan in the Philippines during Christmas Break. We partnered with Jesus’ Young Followers to present the Gospel using bracelets & evange-cards to their numerous Children’s Centers, lead teachers’ training, provide food for families whose homes burned down, and serve spaghetti to over 200 children! JYF begin their days with 5am Bible study & prayer in homes & sites throughout the islands where you can see dozens of teenagers, young professionals & adults making their way in the early morning to disciple & begin their day with the Lord. These young people are a product of their Children’s Centers (Bible clubs in neighborhoods) for the last 14 years and now are teachers & are responsible to disciple other workers. JYF is the most intentional “make disciples of all nations” that we have ever encountered! There are new churches and other ministries forming as a result. Those called to pastor teach, then go to studies as a Coach & must evangelize & baptize 10 discipling them to evangelize & baptize 20 before they become a pastor. We learned so much from our brothers & sisters in Christ and were encourage to make more disciples in the USA and around the world!

Equip Biblical Institute (E.B.I.) Classes The Certificate of Leadership is equal to 15 CEU’s (Continuing Education Units). It is specifically designed for those interested in rapidly enhancing their leadership, teaching, and preaching skills through the local church.
