TEXTILE CLEANING GUIDELINES
To prevent overall soiling, frequent vacuuming, or light brushing with a non-metallic, stiff bristle brush to remove dust and grime is recommended.
When cleaning a spill, blot immediately to remove spilled material. Clean spots or stains from the outside to the middle of the affected area to prevent circling.
Overall cleaning by a professional furniture cleaning service only is recommended. Pile fabrics may require brushing with a non-metallic stiff bristle brush to restore appearance.
CLEANING CODES:
W – Water: Clean only with water based shampoo or foam upholstery cleaner and rinse well. Do not over wet.
W/S – Water/Solvent: Clean only with water based shampoo or foam upholstery cleaner and rinse well. Do not over wet. This fabric may also be cleaned with mild, water-free solvents. With either method, pretest a small area before proceeding.
S – Solvent: Only mild, pure and water free dry cleaning solvents may be used for cleaning in a well- ventilated area. Avoid any product which contains Carbon Tetrachloride or other toxic materials.
B – Bleach Cleanable: May be cleaned with diluted bleach following the proper water/bleach ratio indicated on the pattern cleaning specifications. All cleaning should allow for a 10-minute maximum sit time and then MUST BE PROMPTLY AND THOROUGHLY RINSED.
