Milestones1992 starting as a traditional distribution company, selling branded PC peripherals, components and retail software;

1999 re-focus on high-end networking and the incumbent market for converged data-voice solutions;

2002 a new department of high-end professional services, specialized in complex services for enterprise, telecom and the operator market was created;

2006 Omnilogic acquired Software Development&Consulting (SDC is a leading company in the development and implementation of software projects and IT consulting) and developed it into one of the major players on the software market;

2008 Omnilogic decided to relocate and invested more than 30 million € into a new Campus (covering more than 3 hectares and 15,000 m2 of built space), including the only TIER 3- ready data center in Romania.

2010 Omnilogic released, as a premiere within the Romanian market, its first “on- demand” IaaS program named “OmniVServ”, within its regional initiative of promoting cloud-computing in South-Eastern Europe, under the concept of “OmniVCloud”.

2011 - 2012 Omnilogic became Oracle VAD in Romania for the whole Oracle HW and SW product range and Omnilogic launched the SEE Oracle Partner HUB in its premises in Romania.

2013 Omnilogic became ‘Value Added Distributor’ for Oracle in Adriatics

2014 Omnilogic also became ‘Value Added Distributor’ for ZTE Corporation and Kofax in Adriatics

Omnilogic Data Center (ODC)

Omnilogic Data Center was not conceived as a passive Hosting Solution and this is the major difference from similar solutions existent on the Romanian and regional markets today.

With a final investment cost of more than 8 million Euro, Omnilogic Data Center was designed and built as a dedicated, professional, flexible and secured IT environment, made available mainly to Omnilogic strategic customers.

Omnilogic Data Center (ODC)Omnilogic Data Center has been built according to the latest standards of Telecommunications Industry Association for the telecommunication infrastructure of Data Centers (TIA-942), conscientiously observing the rigors of TIER 3.

The equipment at Omnilogic Data Center is state-of-art, coming from world leaders in the industry. The network infrastructure is supplied by Cisco, as well as the network security, the servers are manufactured by VCE (Cisco, EMC, VMware), IBM, Oracle and HP, the standalone storage equipment was acquired from EMC and the virtualisation is managed by VMware.

Omnilogic Data Center (ODC) - HSP ProgramHSP = Hosted Service Provider; SaaS = Software as a Service; ISV = Independent Software Vendors

‣ Started at the beginning of 2011; ‣ Omnilogic Romania is the only Oracle partner outside the USA (there are three such partners worldwide) who ever received the HSP status for ISV’s; ‣ HSP program addresses ISV which have an application or applications which have been developed on Oracle platforms and want to provide them in SaaS conditions. ‣ Before this program, ISVs could work like this only if they had their own Data Center and only if they purchased the necessary licenses for application/ applications functioning at customer’s site; This model led to an extremely high cost per user, which used to prevent ISV’s development activity. ‣ Omnilogic has a Data Center Tier 3 and scalable capacity available to accommodate such software solutions. ‣ Based on this statute, Omnilogic can host in his own Data Center any number of ISV applications - from Romania or from the region - who would like to promote their proprietary applications in SaaS mode. ‣ Basically, ISVs will not buy the necessary licenses for Oracle platforms, they will only include in the monthly fee a pay a a fraction of the cost, communicated by Omnilogic. ‣ The final contract is a sales chain ‘Oracle - Omnilogic - ISV - Client’, in which each entity will sign a contract only with the previous structure of the chain. !

with Oracle

‣ Why Omnilogic as FDP?

• Recognition from Oracle for the high qualitative level that Omnilogic operates

• an answer to the market’s demand to have in FDP a neutral partner from end-user point of view, considering that the VAD is not contractually allowed to sell directly to the end-user; In this way, Oracle’s partners who do not own technical capabilities can provide Oracle solutions relying on VAD’s specialists without having to engage in this process a competitor.

‣ Omnilogic as FDP implies:

‣ two permanent certified specialists for the technical solutions promoted by Oracle and offered through Premier Support; the certification process is a continuous one and shows the Oracle platforms’ evolution

‣ the FDP specialists must implement the Premier Support that Oracle partners (or Oracle directly) sell it to the final customer (end-user). Operations include installation, configuration, maintenance both in warranty period and post warranty.
