Join an European wide research network, through

1. Four courses to learn essentials in starting new businesses. The courses can be taken in any node of ICT Labs with costs paid

2. Funding of expenses for 6 month visit to a foreign research institution during doctoral studies

3. Joining the research projects of EIT Digital

4. Using our Co-Location Centre (CLC) as your ”base camp”

Accelerate starting up a new businesses after doctoral studies

– Six month business development experience after submitting dissertation to pre-examination

– Starting up own business or– Helping a company start-up a

business– EIT Digital pays salary for the six

months

The CLC is the ”base camp” of the EIT Digital Doctoral Students

EIT Digital Doctoral Training in SCIdoctoral curriculum

• The total amount of ECTS for doctoral studies is 40 to be completed the in 18 months

• During the 18 months the first 3 course modules of EIT Digital can be takenI: Raising AwarenessII: Opportunity RecognitionIII: Business Modeling

• The studies can give 15 ECTS (at Aalto University)• Last module: Growth & Harvest to be completed in later stage of studies• Supervising professor has the final decision power to accept the studies

Deadline November 27th, 2015

To qualify, you must be1. Doctoral student at Aalto University

or University of Helsinki2. In 1st or 2nd year in your doctoral

studies (calculated from the real start of studies)

3. Having your research area related to Research and Innovation areas of EIT Digital

4. Able to use our CLC as your base camp
