Market Lamb Validation Form Ear Tag – Yellow – Left Ear Nose Prints – 2 per card, keep second card for chairperson Tattoo – Right Ear Hair Sample TLBA Tag – Must be in the lambs ear at validation
Market Lamb Validation – No Major Changes
Breeding Sheep Validation Form Registered Breeding Rams and Ewes
◉ Flock Tag – corresponds to registration papers◉ Nose Print – 2 per card, Second card for chairperson◉ Hair Sample◉ Tattoo – County Number◉ Registration Papers – copy attached to validation form◉ Ownership Deadline – on or before October 1 on reg. papers.

2016 Major Show – Validation Required
The Texas 4-H and FFA Sheep and Goat Validation Program will continue to conduct both random and targeted “Validation Checks” or project visits to assure projects are continuously owned and personally fed and cared for by the exhibitor throughout the entire feeding period. The majority of the “Validation Checks” will be conducted by the County Level State Validation Committees at the request of the Executive Committee.
