TEXAS DISTRICT CONSTITUTION

Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ, Inc.

PREAMBLE

In order to establish our work on a more efficient basis, to promote

greater cooperation, and to secure a closer fellowship and harmony

between the District and the General Organization, we the

members of the Texas District of the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus

Christ, do hereby set forth this Constitution and By-Laws,

(according to Article XVII, Section 4, of the General Constitution

and By-Laws of the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ.

PURPOSE

The following Constitution is set forth as a guideline only to aid

individual Districts in forming their own Constitution and By-

Laws. The will of each District shall at all times take precedence

over proposals herein, set forth so long as the District's will does

not contradict, infringe, or enlarge upon the General Constitution.

ARTICLE I

THE NAME

SECTION 1 - THE NAME

1. The name of the District shall be known as the Texas

District of the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ, Incorporated.

ARTICLE II

MEMBERSHIP

SECTION 1 - ELIGIBILITY

1. Anyone desiring to hold membership with the

Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ must fulfill the command

given in Acts 2:38, repentance, baptism in the Name of the Lord

Jesus Christ, having received the Holy Ghost with the evidence of

speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance.

Furthermore, he must believe, preach, and teach the same, having

the call of God to the ministry.

2. All applications for membership shall be properly

completed.

3. All applications for ministerial license or credentials

shall be filed with the District Superintendent, at least thirty (30)

days prior to the meeting of the District Board, at which the

application shall be considered. (The exception being that the

applicant is a member of an Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ

church and his pastor is signing the application and appearing

with him before the District Board.) At this time he shall be

presented a current copy of the District Constitution and By-Laws

of the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ.

4. An application for membership shall be approved by the

District Board, signed and forwarded to the General Secretary.

5. All applications for membership shall be processed

within thirty (30) days of approval.

6. All qualifications for membership in the Assemblies of

the Lord Jesus Christ shall be set by the General Conference.

SECTION 2 - TRANSFERS

1. Any minister transferring from one District to another

must notify the District Superintendent and District Secretary-

Treasurer of his intent by letter.

2. The District Superintendent shall notify the District

Secretary-Treasurer, to forward a letter of transfer to the receiving

District Superintendent, informing him of the transferring

minister's status and cooperative attitude.

3. Upon arrival in a new District, the minister shall

immediately contact the District Superintendent of the District.

4. The District Superintendent shall direct the District

Secretary-Treasurer to inform the General Secretary by letter, of

the transferring minister's correct address

5. No minister shall be accepted into another District

without being cleared by his present District.

SECTION 3 - OBLIGATIONS

1. To conduct one's self everywhere as becometh a Christian

minister.

2. To endeavor to maintain a spirit of unity and love.

3. To cooperate with the programs and leadership of the

District.

4. To cooperate with the financial policy of the District.

5. To work for the furtherance of the District.

6. To abide by this Constitution and By-Laws duly enacted

by the District, according to this Constitution, and to preach and

teach doctrine consistent with the Articles of Faith, and General

Constitution and By-Laws of the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus

Christ.

7. The rules and obligations as set forth in the General

Constitution and By-Laws of the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus

Christ, according to Article VIII, are applicable and binding on all

ministers of the District.

8. All National dues and assessments, and all District dues

must be paid to the District Secretary-Treasurer.

9. Any minister failing to keep his ministerial dues current

with his District, shall be notified that after thirty (30) days his

name shall be dropped from membership in the Assemblies of the

Lord Jesus Christ. (Should he be an officer in the District, his term

of office shall be automatically terminated, thirty days after the

above notice, unless by this time he has paid his dues up to date, or

with the permission of the District Board, made arrangements

satisfactory to the District Board to bring them up to date.) A

minister may not be dropped or disfellowshipped, for any other

reason, except by the proper procedures as outlined in Article VIII,

Section 3, of the General Constitution and By-Laws of the

Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ.

10. A minister's dues shall not be considered current unless,

he is current with his National and District obligations, according

to Article VIII, Section 3, Paragraph 1-a, and Paragraph 2, of the

General Constitution and By-Laws of the Assemblies of the Lord

Jesus Christ.

11. Any minister withdrawing or being dropped from our

organization must return his License or Credentials, and current

fellowship card to his respective District Superintendent.

SECTION 4 - ADMISSION

1. Any minister who is eligible and accepts the foregoing

obligations shall be considered for membership by the District at a

regular District Conference, Sectional Conference, or duly called

District Board Meeting.

ARTICLE III

DISTRICT CONFERENCE

SECTION 1 - BUSINESS SESSIONS

1. Two business sessions of the District shall be held

regularly each year, and shall be called a District Conference, one

to be the Spring Conference, the other to be the Fall Conference.

The Fall Conference shall be the electoral Conference. It shall be

held in the Fall following the General Conference. All officers,

including the District Superintendent, shall be elected at this time

(except the Sectional Presbyters, see Article III, Section 3,

Paragraph 1).

SECTION 2 - TIME AND LOCATION

1. The Spring Conference shall be held in April. The date

for the Conference shall be set by the District Board one year prior

to the date of the Conference. The decision of the District Board

must be ratified by the District Conference.(During the District

Conference, the time and location of the next District Conference

may be set by the Conference, or the Conference may set a

permanent time for its Conferences. If it becomes necessary, with

the approval of the Conference, the District Board may set the time

and location of the District Conference.)

2. The Fall Conference shall be held the first Friday and Saturday

in September.

3. Both the Spring and Fall Conference shall be held at a

location to be decided by the District Board, and ratified by the

District Conference.

SECTION 3 - SECTIONS

1. Six Sections shall make up the District, with all Sectional

Officers elected at the Sectional Conference for each

Department, each section deciding the site of the Sectional

Conference (where the District has Sections). [It is

suggested that all Districts divide into Sections as soon as it

is feasible.] The District Superintendent shall preside at the

election of the Sectional Presbyter. These meetings shall be

held following the Fall Conference elections. The members

of the Section shall be notified fifteen (15) days in advance

of the Conference.

2. Any new Sections that are formed in the District must have at

least three (3) churches, to qualify to form a Section. A minimum

of three (3) ministers must be present to constitute a quorum; if

there should not be at least three (3) ministers voting in a Sectional

Conference, the District Board shall appoint a Sectional Presbyter

from that Section. The election procedure shall be in accordance

with Article IV, Section 8, Paragraph 2, of this Constitution. The

District Superintendent and the District Board shall decide on the

formation of new Sections, presenting their decision to the District

Conference for ratification.

SECTION 4 - BUSINESS

1. All business sessions shall open with prayer.

2. The order of business shall be as follows:

a. Meeting called to order by the District

Superintendent.

b. Reading of the minutes of the last District

Conference

3. Financial reports of the Texas District and its

Departments shall be given once each year at the Fall Conference

as follows:

a. District Superintendent

b. Assistant District Superintendent

c. District Secretary-Treasurer

d. World Missions Director

e. Missions America Director

f. Apostolic Crusaders President

g. Apostolic Crusaders Secretary/Ass’t President

h. Women’s Esprit President

i. Committee Reports

j. Election of Officers

k. Old Business

l. New Business

m. Adjournment

4. All resolutions shall be properly written, and signed by

the author, and submitted to the chairman of the Resolution

Committee, the Resolution Committee shall be appointed by the

District Superintendent. This Committee shall decide which

resolutions shall be presented to the District Conference,

(according to Article III, Section 3, Paragraph 5, of the General

Constitution and By-Laws). All resolutions shall be submitted

thirty (30) days prior to the District Conference.

5. The rules contained in the current edition of Robert's

Rules of Order, Newly Revised, shall govern the Organization in

all cases in which they are not inconsistent with the Constitution

and By-Laws of the General Organization, or the District, (this

includes the District Conference, all Boards, Committees,

Departments, and all business functions of the District).

ARTICLE IV

DISTRICT OFFICERS

SECTION 1 - TITLE OF OFFICERS

1. The District shall have the following Officers:

a. District Superintendent

b. Assistant District Superintendent

c. District Secretary-Treasurer

d. A Sectional Presbyter for each Section

e. All other elected and appointed Officers the

District deems necessary.

SECTION 2 - DEPARTMENT DIRECTORS

1. The following Officers shall constitute the Department

Directors:

a. World Missions Director

b. Missions America Director

c. Church Growth Director

d. Apostolic Crusaders director

e. Women’s Esprit President

SECTION 3 - ELECTION OF OFFICERS

1. In accordance with the General Constitution and By-

Laws, all District Officers shall be elected or appointed for a term

of two (2) years, or until their successor is elected or appointed.

(Article IV, Section 2, Paragraph 2).

SECTION 4 - QUALIFICATIONS OF THE DISTRICT

SUPERINTENDENT

1. In order to hold a General Office in this Organization,

the following qualifications are required:

One must have been Ordained five (5) years prior to his

election; in the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ two (2)

years; a minister in good standing within and without the

Body of Christ, whose life and ministry has been proven a

faithful work of the Lord, (I Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:6-16),

except in the cases where there is a new District that is less

than three (3) years old, then the Executive Board in case of

an extreme emergency, shall be empowered to waive the

time limit to fill said office (Article IV, Section 3, of the

General Constitution and By-Laws of the Assemblies of the

Lord Jesus Christ).

SECTION 5 - RESTRICTIONS

1. No minister can hold two elective offices at the same

time, except the Office of Trustee, which office can be held jointly

with another, (according to Article IV, Section 4, of the General

Constitution and By-Laws).

SECTION 6 - QUALIFICATIONS OF OTHER OFFICERS

1. All Officers and Department Directors must be those in

good standing with the District, as well as members of the District

for at least one (1) year, except in the case of newly organized

Districts, (according to Article IV, Section 3, Paragraph 1, of the

General Constitution).

2. All District and Sectional Officers must be current with

both National and District dues in order to continue to hold office.

SECTION 7 - VOTING QUALIFICATIONS

1. Only those Ministers and Missionaries holding

accredited Credentials, or General License with the Assemblies of

the Lord Jesus Christ shall be entitled to vote for District

Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent.

2. Local license may vote for all other District Officers and

business.

SECTION 8 - ELECTION PROCEDURE

1. All voting for officers shall be by secret ballot.

2. The election procedure shall be according to Article IV, Section

6, of the General Constitution.

SECTION 9 - QUALIFYING PROCEDURE

1. All questions concerning the qualifications of nominees shall be

presented to the Qualifications Committee in writing. This

Committee shall be appointed by the District Superintendent.

2. No question of such nature shall be discussed openly before the

Conference. (According to Article IV, Section 7, of the General

Constitution).

SECTION 10 - TERM OF OFFICE

1. All District Officers shall take Office at the conclusion of the

District Conference where they are elected.

2. If a vacancy occurs in the office of District Superintendent, the

Assistant District Superintendent shall serve his unexpired term.

Where there is no duly elected Assistant, the General Board shall

appoint a qualified minister to fill said vacancy for the remaining

term of office, or until their successor is elected or appointed

(according to Article IV, Section 8, of the General Constitution).

3. If a vacancy occurs in any other District Office, the District

Board shall appoint a qualified minister to fill said vacancy for the

remaining term of Office (according to Article IV, Section 8, of the

General Constitution).

ARTICLE V

OPERATION OF OFFICES

SECTION 1 - DISTRICT SUPERINTENDENT

The duties of the District Superintendent shall be as follows:

a. To preside at all District Conferences.

b. To call for and preside over all District Board Meetings.

c. To appoint committees pertaining to the District work.

d. To oversee the functions of the District in general.

e. To serve on the General Board; he must attend all

General Board Meetings, and report back to his

respective District.

f. To make a report to the District Conference.

g. By virtue of his Office he shall be Trustee of all District

property.

h. To assist when asked by a local church in helping to

secure a pastor.

i. For the furtherance of the Gospel, he shall have the

authority to appeal to any minister in the District.

j. He shall be authorized to ordain ministers at any District

Conference or District function.

SECTION 2 - DISTRICT SECRETARY-TREASURER

The duties of the District Secretary-Treasurer shall be as follows:

a. To take minutes of all business meetings.

b. To receive and disburse all funds as directed by District

policy.

c. To present an annual report to the District Conference.

d. To sign and process all applications accepted by the

District Board.

e. By virtue of his Office he shall be Trustee of all District

property.

ARTICLE VI

BOARDS AND COMMITTEES

SECTION 1 - THE DISTRICT BOARD

1. The District Board shall consist of all Officers named in

Article IV, Section 1, a through e, of this Constitution.

The duties of the District Board shall be as follows:

a. To oversee the spiritual and material welfare of the

District in general.

b. To direct the business of the District as authorized by

this Constitution.

c. The District Board cannot amend, add to, subtract from,

or enlarge upon the By-Laws of this Constitution.

d. The District Board shall examine, and approve all

applicants for License or Credentials, with the

Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ who make

application in their District.

SECTION 2 - TRUSTEES

1. The Trustees shall be three (3) in number.

a. The District Superintendent and the District

Secretary-Treasurer by virtue of their Office shall

be Trustees. One shall be elected by the District

Conference for a term of two (2) years.

b. The District Superintendent shall be Chairman of

the Trustees.

2. Their duties shall be as follows:

a. The same as those in Article VI, Section IV, of

the General Constitution and By-Laws of the

Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ. They shall

be authorized, empowered, and directed by the

District Conference.

SECTION 3 - OTHER DISTRICT OFFICES

1. All other Boards and Committees, et cetera, not

particularly covered in this Constitution, shall operate according to

the General Constitution and By-Laws of the Assemblies of the

Lord Jesus Christ.

SECTION 4 - NEW WORKS

1. Any minister in our Fellowship starting a new work must

cooperate with the District Superintendent, as well as all the

programs in the District. He shall contact the District

Superintendent informing him of the location at which he intends

to start the new work.

SECTION 5 - DEPARTMENT DIRECTORS

WORLD MISSIONS, MISSIONS AMERICA,

APOSTOLIC CRUSADERS, AND WOMEN’S ESPRIT

PRESIDENT

The duties of the above shall be as follows:

1. To oversee their respective Departments as set forth in the

General Constitution under the policy of each.

2. To give an account of income and expenditures yearly at the Fall

Conference.

3. Each Department shall publish in the District Newsletter any

news or plans for their respective Departments.

SECTION 6 - CAMPGROUND PLANNING COMMITTEE

Be it resolved that an Advisory Committee be established

to constitute a Campground strategy. This Committee would be

called the Campground Planning Committee and would be

responsible for the planning of all projects current and future. This

strategy would require the approval of the District Board. Anyone

may present a project to this Committee for consideration. This

Committee shall be a permanent Committee and may only be

dissolved by vote of the District Conference. The Committee shall

consist of seven (7) members as follows:

The duly elected Trustees (3) and At Large Members (4)

(These At Large Members shall not be current Board

Members). This is a non-reimbursement position. This

Committee shall be appointed by the District Board

ARTICLE VII

CAMP MEETING AND YOUTH CAMP POLICY

SECTION 1 - DATES

1. The date of the Camp Meeting shall be the third full

week in July, Monday night through Friday night.

2. The date for the Youth Camp shall be the second full

week in June, Monday night through Friday night.

ARTICLE VIII

GRANTS AND SCHOLARSHIPS

SECTION 1 - AUTHORIZATION

1. The District Board shall be authorized to grant one

thousand dollars ($1,000.00) for scholarships each year. This

Apostolic Theological studies scholarship may be granted to more

than one individual within the Texas District as long as the total

amount does not exceed one thousand dollars ($1,000.00).

ARTICLE IX

DISTRICT NEWSLETTER

SECTION 1 - POLICY

1. The Texas District Newsletter shall be funded by one

dollar ($1.00) per month added to each minister's dues, and by a

one hundred dollar ($100.00) donation from each Department of

the District each year. Subscriptions, (other than ministerial,

classified advertisements [from A.L.J.C. only]), will contribute to

the funding.

2. The Board of Publications shall operate according to

Article VI, of the General Constitution and By-Laws of the

Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ.

3. The editor of the Texas District Newsletter shall be

appointed by the District Board for a term of two (2) years.

ARTICLE X

LEASE POLICY

SECTION 1 - AUTHORIZATION

1. The District Board shall be authorized, empowered, and

directed to enter into a lease agreement with lessees of our Camp

Ground Lots and establish rules and regulations to govern the

same.

ARTICLE XI

DISTRICT FINANCES

SECTION 1 - DUES

1. All ministers of the Texas District of the Assemblies of the Lord

Jesus Christ who hold Credentials and/or General License must

pay a minimum of twenty-one dollars ($31.00) each month, and

those holding Local License pay Fifteen dollars ($15.00) per month

into the District Fund for the purpose of carrying on the District

work. When a minister has a spouse who holds License, the

spouse's District dues shall be Fifteen dollars ($15.00) each month.

2. Any minister that is in good standing with the District, that is

appointed by the World Missions Board to a Foreign Field, enters

the Evangelistic Field in a full time endeavor (whose sole support

is from the Evangelistic Field), or a full time student at a Bible

College, their District dues shall be exempt, so long as they

maintain the above mentioned status.

3. Any minister being in need may appeal (either written or in

person) to the District Board, and the District Board can defer his

or her District dues only and request that the General Secretary do

the same until they are able to meet their obligation.

4. The District shall pay the expenses of the District

Superintendent to the General Conference, General Board

Meetings, District Board Meetings, all District functions, telephone

calls, and other expense incurred as District Superintendent.

5. The District shall not pay the expenses of the Assistant District

Superintendent to General Conference. His full expenses shall be

paid anytime he must fill the office of District Superintendent. He

shall be given thirty dollars ($30.00) for expenses to all other

District functions.

6. The District shall pay the expense of the District

Secretary/Treasurer to the General Conference, District

Conference, District Board Meetings, and all other District

Functions that require his presence, telephone calls, and supplies

for District business.

7. All records and receipts shall be kept in one place by the

Secretary-Treasurer (District records), by each Department

Director for his Department.

ARTICLE XII

AMENDMENTS

SECTION 1 - DISTRICTS

1. This Constitution may be amended at any District

Conference by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of those members present

and voting.

ANNUAL DISTRICT DEPARTMENT CONFERENCE

There shall be an annual District Department Conference, under

the direction of a committee consisting of all departmental

directors and the District Superintendent as chairman of that

committee. This will be a joint effort of all departments, moving

from Section to section on a rotating basis.

The program will be defined by the committee. The district will aid

in the financing by setting aside $200 for this seminar. This in no

way restricts departments from having separate seminars.

The Department Heads and District officials are to meet in each

section once a year.

APOSTOLIC CRUSADERS

The Apostolic Crusaders Secretary/Treasurer shall be the

Secretary/Treasurer/Assistant President (Effective 4/99)

AUDITS

Audit Committee Guidelines

1. You must reconcile your bank statement monthly.

2. Group all deposits in ledger when possible by check

number and name.

3. Turn in your books to the Audit Committee Chairman on

time. (This may be a copy of your ledger, checkbook, and

cash receipts journal.)

4. The fiscal year is July 1 through June 30. Close your books

June 30. Actual books must be turned in to Audit

Committee Chairman by July 31. Make notations on checks

and stubs. (To: ____ For: ____)

5. Must keep a cash receipts journal for all cash received (and

for checks upon request.)

6. Send thirteen (13) monthly bank statements beginning with

the prior July through the current June

7. Dues paid shall receive a statement of status.

8. List any expenditure equal to or greater than 10% of you

9. Send a draft copy of your new financial report and a copy

of last year’s financial report with your books.

10. Audit Committee Chairman will initial and return audited

copies of books and financial reports ot the appropriate

Departments.

CAMPGROUNDS AND CAMP MEETING

MUSIC

1. A Camp Meeting Music Coordinator shall be appointed to

oversee musicians, singers, etc.

2. The music on the Campgrounds shall be limited to gospel

music.

NIGHT PATROLS

Night patrols are usually appointed to patrol Youth Camp

CONDUCT

Before any question of conduct (at Youth Camp) is brought against

an individual, it must be brought to the attention of the individual’s

local authority (i.e. Pastor, youth Director, or Pastorial-appointed

authority).

SPEAKERS

The District Superintendent is to be the Wednesday Day Speaker at

District Camp Meeting.

INSURANCE

The District Board approved Campground insurance by Church

Mutual.

TAXES

Campground taxes are to be paid without letter of protest. It is

suggested that taxes be reviewed periodically for consideration of

reductions.

CAMPER FEES

Camper fees shall be $15.00 per day. Dorm fees shall be $9.00 per

day for one or $75.00 a week for a family.

CAMPGROUND WORK DAYS

Work Days are usually scheduled at various times in the year to

prepare the Campgrounds for Camp Meeting and Youth Camp. It

is customary to have a work day to winterize the Campground in

the Fall.

Each Section is assigned a day to cook and clean at Camp Meeting.

A schedule is usually presented by the Secretary/Treasurer each

year.

CAMPGROUND OFFERING

1. Each Minister/Church is encouraged to send a monthly

Campground offering.

2. Each Minister/Church is encouraged to send $150.00 before

the Camp Meeting each year to help defray the cost of

buying food.

CAMPGROUND LOT LEASE RULES

1. Leaser may be either a member of the Assemblies of the

Lord Jesus Christ or a member of a church whose pastor is

a member of the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ, or

any other individual or church approved by the Texas

District Board. Before a lay member may lease a lot,

Leaser’s pastor must approve and sign lease agreement.

2. All those on the waiting list for a lot will be considered for

lot lease by the following priorities:

a. Members of ALJC

b. Churches pastored by an ALJC minister

c. Lay members of a church pastured by ALJC pastor.

d. Others approved by the Texas District Board

3. All lots are property of the Texas District of the Assemblies

of the Lord Jesus Christ. The lots are for lease and are not

for sale.

4. Any improvements to be made on a lot are to be submitted

in writing for approval by the District Board.

5. If the Texas District Board, after leaser has been given

opportunity to appear before it, determines that the life,

conduct, or teaching of any leaser is not according to

doctrine of godliness (as written in the articles of faith and

constitution of the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ),

that lease can be canceled by the Texas District Board.

Upon cancelation, leaser will automatically forfeit their

rights to the lease, both financial and physical.

6. Leaser is responsible for maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep

of said lot as directed by the Texas District Board or their

designee.

7. All improvements on lot may be removed by leaser, if

desired, upon termination of a lease. Improvements must be

removed within one year. After that date all improvements

of said lot become the property of the Texas District of the

assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ.

8. Leaser will be required to pay all utilities when used and

equipment fees as set by the Texas District Board.

9. All lots are leased without installation of utilities. Leaser

will be responsible for installation of utilities from the

meter to the lot.

10. Any time a lease is terminated or cancelled, that leaser will

forfeit the full lease payment. (Board may refund moneys if

necessary.)

11. Full payment must be made before any improvements can

be made on the lease lot. (Except for utilities.)

12. If leaser does not participate on the Texas District Camp

Grounds within a two year period, the lease can be

terminated by action of the Texas District Board and leaser

will be notified of loss of lease.

13. Permanent buildings may be built only on lease lots which

are located on the back of the camp ground along the fence.

14. The Texas District of the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus

Christ is not responsible for theft, loss, destruction, or

damage of property or buildings (whether temporary or

permanent.)

15. Camping on the Texas District Campgrounds is at your

own risk. The Texas District of the Assemblies of the Lord

Jesus Christ assumes NO LIABILITY for personal injury or

death.

16. Each leaser of a lot shall be responsible for the containment

and disposal of their sewage. No sewage shall be dumped

on the open ground or in an uncovered hole.

17. All utilities improvements will be considered the property

of Texas District of the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus

Christ.

18. The Texas District of the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus

Christ may cancel the lease at any time by action of the

District Conference.

19. Lease rates will be set annually by the Texas District Board

at the Spring Conference Board Meeting.

CHRISTMAS BANQUET

The Christmas Banquet shall be opened up to include those in all

fields of ministry.

DISTRICT BOARD MEETINGS

The minutes of all District Board Meetings shall be sent to all

members.

DISTRICT CONFERENCE

The District Superintendent “is solely in charge” of the

District Business Meeting and should only recognize

members to speak by voice, not by them raising their hands.

(According to National Parliamentarian)

A motion is usually made during the business session to

allow visiting ministers and their spouses to stay in

attendance of our business session.

Committees usually appointed at conference:

o Qualifying Committee (3 Members)

o Tabulating Committee (3 Members)

o Resolution Committee (3 Members)

o Audit Committee (3 Members)

The Women’s’ Esprit is usually allowed to give their report

first so they can adjourn to have their elections.

DISTRICT NEWSLETTER

Each department shall publish in the District paper any news or

plans for their respective departments.

Copies of the District Newsletter shall be sent ot members of the

National Executive Board.

INTERNATIONAL PRAYER NETWORK (IPN)

The International Prayer Network (IPN) is in operation on our

district. It is coordinated through the Church Growth Department.

MINISTERS

A minister must contact the District Superintendent or District

Secretary upon accepting a pastorate within the Texas District.

MINISTERIAL LICENSE APPLICANTS

All applicants shall be screened on the constitutionality of their

applications by the Superintendent and the district Secretary. Any

application that is rejected shall be accompanied by a letter to the

applicant and all board members explain the reason of rejection.

MINISTERIAL DUES

1. Members whose dues are over 30 days in arrears will

receive a 30 day notice. The member’s presbyter or District

Superintendent (for Board members) will receive a copy of

the 30 day notice. If no payment is received during the 30

day period, a dismissal letter will be sent certified

mail/return receipt.

2. Copies of this notice will be sent to the Sectional Presbyter

or District Superintendent. Members will have ten (1)

additional days to pay dues. District Secretary has been

instructed by the District Board not to accept any dues

payment after these ten days and to inform Headquarters

that member is dropped from the District roll.

3. Any Member whose District is waived because of hardship,

shall have his National dues paid by the District until they

are waived by the National.
