Step 7

To start a new game, click the Play again button

See above in the screenshot that displays the earned points point at the end of the game. Here is the

score is 27 and no horizontal lines have been created. Hence, the Line score is 0.

Goal of Tetris

The goal of the user is to achieve a stack of horizontal Tetromino lines, with no intermittent gaps in the

line itself or between any two consecutive lines. Once, the lines neatly stack up from the bottom to the

top of playing area, the game moves on to the next level. As the game level moves up, the speed of

falling Tetrominos increases and this gives the user the lesser time to successfully complete the grid of

lines on the screen.

In the nutshell, Tetris increases the brain activity. As a Tetris player, you will see that over the time your

cerebral output increases.

Rules

The Important rules of the game are:

• Once all the lines in a game are done, the game is over.

• You have to start a new game (repeat the same game) again if you have not been able to

complete all the lines in the previous game.

• The difficult "Line Clears" are awarded more points

• To successfully complete a game you need to create series of horizontal lines one over the

other, with no gaps in between

• The game ends when the stack of Tetrominos reaches the top of the play area and no new

Tetrominos are able to enter the area.
