Village Creek Bible Camp Mission Statement

“To provide a place away from the distractions of everyday life, where people can hear the Word of God and en-

counter Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.”

By

Discipling and evangelizing people, of all ages through the operation of a quality Christian summer camp and year

round Retreat Center, conducted in a manner consistent with Christian principles.

To utilize our facility and staff in assisting the Christian community in its ministry of evangelizing and disciplining

young people and families and any other group whose purpose and practice is consistent with VCBC’s policy, doc-

trines and sound business practices.

By providing high quality educational programs that emphasize our responsibility toward God’s creation.

We Recognize:

1. OUR POWER IS IN HIM

“I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know… His incomparably great

power for us who believe. That power is like the working of His mighty strength, which He exerted in Christ when

He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and au-

thority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to

come.”

(Ephesians 1:18-21)

2. OUR SERVICE IS FOR HIM

“Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything; and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to win their fa-

vor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord. Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as

working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward.

It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” (Colossians 3:22-24)

3. OUR REWARD IS FROM HIM

It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”

(Colossians. 3:22-24)

END RESULTS

1. You will experience an intimacy with Christ that will change who you are, how you think, and what you believe

is valuable.

2. Campers leave knowing they have value and purpose for living because of Christ. Christianity becomes more

than a religion; it’s a real relationship with their Creator.

ropes and low ropes. VCBC offers the 2nd
