DESCRIPTION
DOMISISMATRANSCRIPT
T E S T R E P O R TSERENA BAUCHEMIE LABORATORIES, Zurich, made tests to determine the most important physical properties and chemical resistance for the flex-elastic cement based product DOMOLASTIC.
1. Definitions of the product
DOMOLASTIC is a 2-component waterproofing mortar composed of a liquid component A and a powdered component B. The component A contains mainly a mix of elasticised resin dispersions and the component B is a powdered mix of cement and special inorganic fillers. Both components contain no chemicals like chlorides, sulphates or other agents which could promote the corrosion. The mixed product is ready to use and can be applied by means of roller, brush or airless spraying equipment onto each kind of cement based support like concrete or mortar. The hardened membrane is waterproof but very high permeable for water vapour, shows a good resistance to abrasion, is fuel oil resistant and can bridge over cracks up to ca. 1 mm width.

Drinking water test Test method:A series of glass slabs are coated in a steep bath with DOMOLASTIC. After complete drying the coated samples are rinsed thoroughly and dried again. The samples are than immersed in analyzed drinking water for 2 days. The drinking water is analyzed again.
Result: The chemical analysis of the drinking water shows no difference after the described contact with the DOMOLASTIC coating.
This test is corresponding to the official test of the cantonal laboratory of the city of Zurich.
DOMOLASTIC can be used in permanent contact with drinking water, if the surface is well rinsed before. For drinking water reservoirs, coated with DOMOLASTIC, the city laboratory of Zurich recommends as the simplest cleaning procedure to fill and empty the reservoir twice before using.
