Designed for PV inverter, Smart Grid and EV test applications, the 61800 Regenerative Grid Simulator is a full 4 quadrant, fully regenerative, programmable AC power source with advanced features for compliance, safety and product verication testing. Power can both sink and source from the UUT seamlessly to support a multitude of applications. In cases where the UUT sources current, a detection circuit will sense the excess power and recycle it back to the grid. Using state-of-the-art digital control technology the 61800 can deliver up to 330VAC at output frequencies ranging from 30Hz to 100Hz. The AC+DC feature allows for applications that require a DC oset bias.

The new generation 63600 DC Electronic Loads provide an innovative Dynamic Sweep mode with Vpk measurements that can be run independently on each module or in parallel for high power loading. Also allows for three measurement ranges for precise voltage and current measurements making it ideal for ENERGY STAR® testing requirements. The 63600 also provides an enhanced feature, User Defined Waveform (UDW), to simulate the actual current profiles and waveforms.

Chroma’s 63800 AC/DC load simulates load conditions under high crest factor and varying power factors with real time compensation even when the voltage waveform is distorted. This special feature provides real world simulation capability and prevents overstressing resulting in reliable and unbiased test results. The 63800 uses DSP technology to simulate non-linear rectified loads with its unique RLC operation mode. This mode improves stability by detecting the impedance of the UUT and dynamically adjusting the load’s control bandwidth to ensure system stability. Chroma’s multi-channel Power Meters make accurate power measurements for various wiring modes including three phase WYE and DELTA and split phase. These power meters feature state-of-the-art DSP digitizing technology which replaces less accurate and slower traditional analog circuits. The internal 16 bit analog/digital converters with sampling rates of up to 250 kHz provide both high speed and high accuracy measurements. The 19032 performs six dielectric tests in one unit including AC/DC Hipot, Insulation Resistance, Ground Bond, Leakage Current and Dynamic Function tests for compliance testing of IEC, UL, TUV, CSA, EN and other standards. The time-saving TwinPort™ feature performs Hipot and Ground Bond simultaneously cutting time for these tests in half. The 19032 also has an open / short check function (OSC) that checks for an open connection or a DUT short during testing. The analyzer’s leakage current scanners can provide up to 20A input current capability for functional run testing as well as earth, patient and line leakage current tests. The analyzer is equipped with programmable limits for pass/fail testing as well as storage and recall of 50 dierent test setups with 100 steps per setup.

The Guardian 19020 comes equipped with the world’s rst sync hipot test function. A single unit can perform 10 channels sync output and measurements simultaneously. Ten units in master & slave conguration can be controlled simultaneously for 100 channels in total. They also can be grouped for output to avoid creating voltage dierences due to adjacent tests as well as to improve productivity.

The 19572 is an instrument dedicated to measuring grounding resistance within a range of 0.1~510mΩ. Its compact size and easy operation makes it perfect for testing in a production line. Since it supplies highly reliable and stable test results with a built-in resistance compensation function, the 19572 is an economical and useful ground bond tester.

In addition to the excellent measurement features shared with other Chroma LCR Meters, the 11050 has 3 output impedance modes to meet the demands of measuring and working with other instruments. The exible digital display allows adjustment to best t the test resolution, while the test signal monitoring function is able to display the voltage and current actually being applied to the DUT. The timing settings for trigger delay, measure delay, and average number of times allow the measurements to work closely with automated machines to get the most accurate results with limited testing time. The detached design of the Chroma 11050 uses a dual CPU system for processing the testing and display individually. This not only increases testing speed but also shortens test lead lengths when used with automated machines to improve the accuracy of high frequency measurements.
