START UP AND MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE 1. Following instruction and initial start up, ongoing inspection: a. Belt tracking should be inspected by a competent person and re-adjusted if required as product may affect belt tracking and consequently drastically reduce belt life. 2. After 1 - 2 weeks of operation. a. Check all nuts and bolts etc. and tighten as required. b. Check belt Tension and adjust if necessary. 3. After 4 - 6 weeks of operation. a. Check Drive chain tensioner, re-adjust if necessary. b. Check drive chain. Oil and adjust if necessary. c. Check all nuts and bolts etc. and tighten as required. 4. After 6 months of operation. a. Check all the above items. b. Check oil from gear motor unit and top up if necessary. 5. After 12 months of operation a. Check all the above items. b. Drain oil from gear motor unit and replace with clean oil. c. Check all bearings for signs of wear and replace if required. NOTE: Bearings are sealed for life type and need no maintenance, Except for annual inspection for signs of wear.

GENERAL CARE AND PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE It will be beneficial to the trouble free running of the conveyor to carry out a planned monthly inspection to the general description below: Slacken off the belt tension and lift the belt, brush out from the bed surface any dust and debris that may have collected there. Next check around the rollers for any debris, which may cause belt-tracking problems and remove it. Inspect all bearing faces for dust and debris and remove. When completed re-tension the belt Always check and re-adjust the belt tracking as necessary. The instructions and information provided by this manual are intended for use by persons with technical engineering skills, at their own discretion and risk.
