DURING A LINE EXPANSION AT NPA AUTOMOTIVE, TES Engineering designed chiller and boiler plants, dust collection systems, fume collection systems, and a full HVAC system for the building. We also provided a complete set of coordination drawings that eliminated conflict between trades.
AT THE KRAFTMAID CABINETRY FACTORY, TES Engineering participated in over 70 projects.During one, we oversaw the installation of a 300,000 CFM paint fume collection system. Our design improved the capture and removal of VOCs for compliance with EPA mandates while improving production efficiency and employee comfort.
WHILE WORKING AT A PLASTIC MANUFACTURING PLANT, TES Engineering participated in performance-based projects that improved production efficiency through upgrading the extruding, blow-molding, and injection-molding mechanical equipment.
AT AN EATON ENGINE PLANT IN KENTUCKY, TES Engineering designed an air quality retrofit system and HVAC upgrades at the 1-million square foot metal working facility while reenforcing the design with financial justification studies and equipment capacity options.
DURING AN ENERGY AUDIT FOR INDUSTRIAL CLIENT H&M RUBBER, TES Engineering’s energy engineers discovered many no-cost opportunities for improved energy efficiency. Many of these were behavioral changes that could be achieved through employee education.

GENERAL ELECTRIC PROJECTS
AT THE GENERAL ELECTRIC LIGHTING & ELECTRIC INSTITUTE NELA PARK, our engineers have overseen many projects at the 92-acre, 100 year old facility. For years, they’ve directed mechanical, electrical, and plumbing infrastructure improvements and renovations on the property.
These projects included chiller and pump replacement, maintaining the underground utility corridors, and servicing the central plant for the campus.
The entire property and all buildings received special attention to detail because the are registered on the National Register of Historic Places, meaning our engineers create innovative, clever solutions for the project’s mechanical, electrical, and plumbing needs.
A SPECIAL PROJECT
WE HELP CLIENTS SAVE ENERGY
JCPenney set a goal to create on of the MOST STATE-OF-THE-ART, ENVIRONMENTALLY
CONSCIOUS RETAIL STORES IN THE COUNTRY, so collaboration for this project was even more important than usual. TES/Green energy engineers worked closely with architects and designers as TES introduced new technology that improved the store’s aesthetic appearance and merchandising power.
Key Bank has been making significant strides in reducing their carbon footprint. In addition to providing eco-friendly consumer services, Key hsa become focused on building energy efficient branches that ear LEED certification. The company is also evaluating branches in accordance with Coment’s ZEPI Scale WITH PLANS TO ACHIEVE ZERO ENERGY USE. Recently, TES has been integral to the project team as the energy engineer to assist in achieving these goals.
The building managers at Energizer’s world headquarters previously commissioned three standard ASHRAE Benchmark Audits from various companies. Frustrated with the results, the called in TES/Green to perform an action audit on their property, a move that saved them $20,000 per year and LED TO
THE IMPLEMENTATION OF MAJOR CHANGES.
CBL & Associates has implemented a MAJOR ENERGY RENOVATION PROGRAM across their portfolio. TES has helped prioritize properties for implementation changes. Our expertise in building energy modeling and our abilitiies to provide impanelment recommendations has resulted in projects at 21 properties. Completed construction projects has saved over $70,000 at a 30% return.
TES provided unique and clever recommendations that allowed CCP customers to reduce energy use and save money. TES accomplished this through a building analysis that included assessing lighting and HVAC systems. To complete our analysis, we performed a detailed study of how, why, and when this equipment is used. Based on this process, TES SAVED CLEVELAND PUBLIC POWER CUSTOMERS
$433,000 WITH AN AVERAGE RETURN ON INVESTMENT 3.6 YEARS.
A building’s inhabitants are the best resource for important information about your property. We begin a thoughtful dialogue with staff members about their habits and follow-up with a detailed walk through of your property.
OUR COMMITMENT TO ENERGY EFFICIENT DESIGN
Our engineers create a fully custom, dynamic digital model to benchmark the intricacies of your building to a library of others.
Using a proprietary method of analyzing, TES coordinates building data, historical
records, and current conditions to achieve you building’s full energy use picture.
Using tools developed by the us department of energy, we create you a dynamic monitoring system. This systems allows you to protect your
energy investment.
