Terrorism is not primarily about the people andobjects attacked; it is about the

the category of just war is not merely an expression of

organized violence, but that powerful nations are ableto decide for themselves

whether an event is to be treated as a war crime

Laboratories which are working on biological viruses only time nuclear weapons were used

it was by a liberal democracy. The same liberaldemocracy has also dropped a massive

amount of chemicals (agent orange) on a rural enemy.

Sucide Bombing But why does suicide bombing horrify? Partly, I

suggested, because of an

attitude to suicide in general, and especially when it isnon-Europeans who kill

Bin Laden at first had denied he had any responsibility for the terrorist

America is an imperial power and like any such powerit will do whatever is required to consolidate itshegemony. My purpose is to problematize the olddistinction between war and peace on which the ideaof just war depends.
