May 12, 2014 Mary Ann Keller Leasing/Property Administrator Facilities Services 1001 Sarasota Center Blvd. Sarasota, FL 34240 Dear Mary Ann: This letter will serve as notice of intent to terminate our Sub-Lease Agreement, Contract number 2014-050 second extension of sub-lease agreement, between Sarasota County and the Sarasota Convention and Visitors Bureau (701 North Tamiami Trail) on December 12, 2014. This notice is in in accordance with our Agreement that either party may terminate this Sub-Lease agreement without cause by providing written notice of its intent to terminate to the other party at least six (6) moths prior to the date of the intended termination. We have struggled with the City of Sarasota for proper signage at the location since August of 2009 and can no longer continue to operate a visitor information center in a location that is not only difficult to access, in desperate need of upgrades to sidewalks and facilities, but with no proper signage other than FL DOT signposts, visitors simply cannot find us. It is our mission to make Sarasota County the Must Experience Destination on Florida’s Gulf Coast and visitor services plays and important in that mission. It is our hope to find a location where we can have proper wayfinding signage and ease of access so we can be the economic driver to the destination. Kind Regards,
