Fire Brigade Santa Run
As this will be our last newsletter for the year, I
would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a
Happy New Year. Thanks again to everyone for their
support and enthusiasm during 2013. Last night our
presentation evening was a wonderful success. Well
done to all those who were involved and who
received awards on the night. Congratulations to our
school leaders Cooper, Jordan, Milla and Georgia for
2014. We hope you enjoy the experience and
responsibility of being a school leader.
2014 Classes: I was hoping to finalise classes for
2014 before the holidays, however we have needed
to prepare a plan B. Our numbers have swelled to
the point where we may be able to form a tenth
class. Our anticipated enrolment at this stage is 237
students which is just under the cap for 10 classes.
If you have any concerns about class placement next
year please make an appointment. We can discuss
our plans, at this stage, but of course this may
c h a n g e i f o u r n u m b e r s c h a n g e .
Community Watch: During the long school break
schools are often a target for vandalism or break ins.
If you see anything that needs reporting please
contact the police. The school mobile is also a good
option if you have any enquiries or concerns. The
school mobile number is 0419 282 467.
Thank you to our school leaders for
their leadership in 2013.

Goodbye Year Six
Bradon: I will be attending Dungog High School in 2014. When I
grow up I would like to be a actor or soccer player. My favourite
movie is Lone Ranger and Almost Naked Animals is my favourite
TV show. My favourite food is calamari and a cat aka ally and jedz
are my favourite animal. My favourite accessory is my Xbox and
soccer is my favourite game. My proudest moment at Seaham
Public School has been getting to zone for high jump. Everyone in
Year Six have been my closest friends. I will miss all my friends.
WE WILL MISS YOU!

Goodbye to our Year Six Students and Families. On behalf of
Seaham School, we wish you all the very best as you commence
this next stage in your education.
Congratulations to our
School Captains for 2014.
We would like to thank all
our students who were
nominated.
Congratulations also to the families of our
leaders for 2014. It was very exciting and
emotional for them to pin their badges on
them for the very first time.
Mrs Feenan Hunter River High Scholarship
Year Six Farewell
Mrs Feenan at last night’s presentation was
presented with an appreciation gift for her
dedication and commitment as life member to our
the P&C.
She was also presented with a lovely card that
students signed. It was lovely to see Mrs Feenan
back at Seaham School for this very special
occasion and we wish her all the very best for her
continued leave for 2014.

We would like to

On Tuesday night we had the Year Six Farewell
for our students. Thank you to our Year Five
families that decorated the hall and for supplying
the food. Thank you to Michelle Daskalovski for
her fantastic cake. The overall presentation as
usual was brilliant. It was obvious to everyone
how much work and effort was put into making it
a memorable cake for our Year Six Students.
Finally thank you Majestic Music for their music
and the teaching staff for their supervision and
organisation, which made this night possible.
Apologies to Daniel Vasic for the error in the Year
6 book. All books have been asked to be
returned to have the page replaced.
