The last 7 years have been the best of my career. I arrived at Toukley only expecting to stay for 3 months but little did I know it would be such an amazing adventure. I have loved every part of this great school and have always acknowledged it as the place that I am most passionate about. The Teachers and Executive are the most devoted, dedicated and hardworking staff, a true inspiration to the teaching profession. If they were not as willing to undertake new and innovative ideas, programs and concepts, we would not have achieved the amazing results that we have for your children. To all of my teaching and non teaching staff a very big thank you for allowing my ideas and concepts to come to life. To my wonderful office staff, Maree Trigg, Sue Burke, Geordie Lesberg and Kim Brooks I personally can never thank you enough. These women support me, humour me and keep me on track and nothing is ever too much for them. They are the first port of call in the school and many times bear the brunt of the community’s anger but they always put their smiles on and continue to be the most professional people I have worked with. To the many SLSO’s (School Learning Support Officers) and Kara Walker our AEO (Aboriginal Education Officer) it has been an amazing journey watching you all grow in ability, confidence and passion for what you do so well...and that is support students. Our school is a fantastic place and you all have contributed to this. Many thanks also to Ross Lord, P&C executive and the parent community for allowing your child to come to this exceptional, dynamic and innovative school. A school that is truly a leader on the Central Coast, a school that is preparing your child for a great future. Many thanks for your ongoing support and confidence. Lastly to the students at Toukley, as I said in my Presentation Day speech, you are the reason I come to work everyday, the reason that I love my job and the reason why Toukley Public School is the best school. I wish you all the very best of luck in the future, Narelle Armour—Principal 2014 SCHOOL CAPTAINS CANTEEN The Canteen will be closed on the last day of school, Wednesday 18th December. FIRIES AND SALVOS KIDS CHRISTMAS APPEAL It’s almost Christmas again and this year Fire and Rescue NSW on the Central Coast will be collecting gifts for kids on behalf of the Salvation Army. This appeal has become a vital part of the Salvos’ collections each Christmas. EVERY FRNSW fire station will be a collection point!!! All gifts collected will be handed over to the Salvos in mid December to be passed on to deserving kids on the Central Coast. Firefighters are asking Central Coast residents to drop gifts in to their local fire station and help make this Christmas a

happy one for many more kids this year.
