Term 3
From Your Teachers Hello 3 – 6 children and parents, We hope you’re enjoying all the suggested activities in the Montessori at Home Learning so far. We have changed the format slightly. You will find:
• a weekly working plan with daily suggestions
• a daily resource list outlining the materials needed for the day
• printable resources and online learning platforms
• regular schedules for Zoom conferences with the 5 year-olds and small group conferences with the 3-4 year olds. Look out for the zoom link soon. It will be a regular day and time each week to help you in establishing a routine.
We would like to extend our thanks and gratitude to all the families for their partnership in establishing a Montessori home learning environment. We understand the effort that it takes to implement at home distance learning and we appreciate each families effort in trying to create a Montessori prepared environment for their child in the home.
It won’t be long until we’re back together. You and your child are front of mind each day as we work to build quality Montessori content for our at Home Distance Learning packs.
Warm regards, Christine and Ayesha, Bonnie and Ellen, Natasha and Mag Pre-primary (3 – 6 years) staff.

An activity from each learning area has been planned for each day. Prepare and place the activities on the shelf so that your child can choose from the activities. Some activities your child may be able to engage with independently with minimal help and some you may have to introduce to your child before they are able to complete them independently.
To help you set up the activities for the week you will find a list of resources that you will need at the beginning of each day. It is suggested that you organise the resources each night so that they are ready for the next day.
