Active Kids are Smarter Kids is the catch phrase for this year. Children who are regularly physically active are healthier, perform better academically and are less likely to be obese or overweight. Walking regularly is the best exercise because you can build it into your daily routine. Mrs Warham Principal (Proud member of the Western Shores Learning Alliance)

NSW PREMIER’S READING CHALLENGE 2019
The Premier’s Reading Challenge for 2019 has begun. The Challenge aims to encourage a love of reading for leisure and pleasure in stu-dents, and to enable them to experience quality literature. It is not a competition but a challenge to each student to read, to read more and to read more widely. The Premier's Reading Challenge (PRC) is available for all NSW students in Kindergarten to Year 9.
The 2019 Challenge will close on Friday August 30 for students. To complete the challenge, students must log the books they have read (or have had read to them). Students Years 2-6, will be shown how to record their books through the student portal. For more information please contact your class teacher or Mr Groves.
