Students cannot borrow books from the library without a library bag. Ms Marion Cobb will be conduc ng the student banking each Monday. Bank books are to be placed into the blue box in the school office by 9:00am. The home reading program for all students K‐6 will begin next Monday. There will be a slight different format for home reading along with a new reading booklet that will require parents to sign off on. Teachers are explaining this process in the parent/class mee ngs. Scripture will begin for all students on Friday 16th February. Under the provisions of Sec on 26 of the Educa on Act 1990, a student can be exempt from scripture on the basis of conscien ous objec on on religious grounds. If you would like your child to be exempt from scripture classes you must please provide your child's teacher with a wri en note advising of this. Otherwise, all students will a end these lessons on a Friday. Those students who do not a end scripture will be required to do revision work under the supervision of staff and will be unable to a end the special occasion church services eg Easter, Educa on Week and Christmas.
