When I woke up in the hospital after my amputation, I was completely dependent on others for help. I found this very frustrating at first as I had previously been an active man. A prosthetic fitting offered me the chance to regain my independence.

Thanks to the Terion K2 foot I am mobile again – both in our home and outside it, too. My wife in particular is really happy about that. The foot is lightweight but still gives me enough stability for walking and standing.

Due to an illness, I first lost my lower right leg and then later my knee as well. I use my Kenevo knee joint prosthesis together with a Terion K2 prosthetic foot. I got the foot quite soon after my amputation and could walk easily with it right away. Perhaps I have my ambition and my previous career as a sports teacher to thank for the fact that I could soon walk quite smoothly with it. But I am still determined to keep training so I can walk even more naturally.

Just the fact that I have a solid rollover with the Terion K2 gives me a good feeling. It makes me feel safe, whether I’m on the grass or on the stone drive in front of our house. If I had to sum up the Terion K2 in one sentence, I’d say that it’s a feel-good foot that does everything important in my life along with me.

Do I need to wear special shoes with the Terion K2?No, the Terion K2 is delivered with a footshell that is based on the shape of a natural foot, and works with most footwear. The abducted big toe makes it possible to wear sandals.

Are Terion K2 prosthetic feet waterproof?The Terion K2 is resistant against splashed water. After contact with water or sand, the prosthetic foot should be cleaned with fresh water and dried thoroughly.

In what ways does the Terion K2 differ from conven-tional prosthetic feet?Unlike conventional prosthetic feet such as Dynamic or SACH, the Terion K2 features a combination of carbon fibreglass and a foam heel. This provides comfortable, cushioning heel characteristics without waiving the benefits of the extended forefoot dynamics.
