Tener anos AGE!
• We use the verb TENER to express age in Spanish.
• tener + # + años (years)• (Yo) tengo diez años. I am 10 years
old.• (Ellas) tienen veinte años. They
(females) are 20 years old.• Ustedes tienen quince años. You all
are 15 years old.

• For this, we use tener que. – (Ella) tiene que tomar apuntes en la

• You use possessive adjectives to show possession or ownership.
• Like other adjectives, the possessive adjective must agree with the noun it modifies.
• In English, our possessive adjectives are my, yours, his, hers, its…. Etc….– My book; your keys; his car; her story….
