WHAT: Tender Loving Care (TLC) for iOS. Is is a movie? Or is it a game? One thing we know, it’s the perfect match of interactive entertainment and technology. TLC is a provocative, psychological thriller designed to take full advantage of the stunning capabilities of tablet technology for interactive storytelling and entertainment. It offers the pleasures of a traditional motion picture while providing an interactive experience in a way no one else has previously imagined. TLC is not like other so-called interactive movies; it works as a virtual biofeedback device that senses the viewers desires, needs, thoughts and attitudes… and then shapes its story around that input. Its design is unprecedented in that the viewer’s psyche is the invisible director of the story, determining both character and plot-development every step of the way.

For people seriously interested in new and potent ways to communicate information, feelings and ideas, tablet tech is a dream come true. It is a true and powerful multimedia platform. This enhanced movie experience is somewhat like offering viewers the best of both a movie and a game. Like a game, it is engaging and interactive. The user is drawn into the plot and characters. WHY: A better question might be.. Why now? When TLC was first released in 1994, it was received with critical acclaim. But the truth is, there was no place on the shelf for an interactive movie or moviegame at the time. The industry wasn’t sure just what to think of, or do with the innovative title. Fast forward to the development of tablet computing technology, with high def screens and powerful processors, and the perfect platform for this title finally emerged. And it is, we believe, a marriage made in heaven. Now optimized for iOS and tablet viewing, and all that implies, TLC is being re-released in hopes it will be the first of many such rich storytelling, interactive entertainment software experiences to come. SYNOPSIS: When the Overton family experiences a car accident, Michael and Allison face an uncertain future. Michael appears to be coping, but Allison is severely traumatized and becomes dependent on her husband. Allison's psychiatrist Dr. Turner recommends a full-time, live-in therapist and Michael agrees. But when Kathryn, the therapist arrives, instead of eroding Allison's delusions, she feeds

Allison's fantasy encouraging complete delusion. Michael is stunned when he discovers Kathryn's method of treatment, as his wife slips further and further towards insanity, and thus a conflict begins. He is excluded from the therapy except to be occasionally called upon to do something extreme and violently in opposition to his wishes. The conflict escalates into a virtual war between Michael and Kathyrn with Allison as the battleground. Meanwhile, in order to not be sent away so that she can continue her unorthodox methods of therapy, Kathryn insinuates herself further into their lives by seducing Michael. Even though he hates her, he is unable to control his attraction to Kathryn, which she manipulates to her own ends when he is desperately trying to stop the therapy. As tensions build, Michael's deep feelings of guilt over the accident begin to surface and his grip on reality also starts to unravel while Kathryn's experimental cure for Allison becomes an all consuming obsession. It leads to a collision of wills and sanity in a shocking climax, or several shocking climaxes, bound to resonate long after the story is over.
