Service Provision

The successful provider(s) may deliver services from West Yorkshire Police’s Scientific Support facility, from their own premises/facilities or from a combination of both.

The lab space at Calder Park could be utilised as the successful provider sees fit in order to deliver services in the most efficient and effective manner.

Whether services are delivered from Calder Park or alternative premises, the geographical structure of operations must ensure that the service turnaround times can be met.

Turnaround times will be detailed in the tender documentation.

Innovation and Technology

A long term agreement in which the successful provider(s) is expected to make best use of new technologies.

Successful tenders will demonstrate a clear research and development strategy.

The provider(s) will approach the Authorities with innovative proposals which enhance service delivery throughout the term of the agreement.

The provider(s) will show a willingness to prioritise the North East Region in the scoping and launch of new technologies.
