TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR CIVIL WORK FOR VTI DUNYAPUR

1. Work shall be executed through tendering. 2. Tender should be submitted comprising a single package containing two separate

envelop. Each envelop will contain separately the Technical Proposal and Financial Proposal boldly labelled on it. The Financial Proposal will only be opened after Technical proposal approved as per Prevailing PPRA rules. Technical or Financial Proposal will be considered cancelled at anytime if the provided specifications are less than the specifications given by procuring agency.

3. On rejection of Technical Proposal, the Financial Proposal will be returned unopened. The institute will not be responsible for any opening of Financial Proposal, where it is submitted collectively with Technical Proposal or found opened on submission or not properly sealed.

4. Complete work drawing as per required plan will be provided by the Bidder with technical tender.

a Any offer not received as per terms & conditions of the tender enquiry is liable to be ignored /rejected at any stage. taxes. k All Kinds of Recourses required for work i.e. Water, Electricity, Labour etc. will be

the responsibility of Contractor / bidder. l One year free service and supply of spare parts / reconstruction in case of natural

damage must be guaranteed by the bidder at the time of opening of tender / mentioned in work order.

specification / Details & other condition of the tenders. 2 Technical Scrutiny of Offers

The tender will be awarded on the basis of quality, specification and lowest quoted rates.

3 Delivery / Completion Period: Delivery / Completion period is Maximum 60 days from the date of issuance of Work order and delivery / work point is VTI Dunyapur or its campuses.

4 Extension of Delivery / Work Period: In special circumstances, request for extension of delivery / Work period may be considered by approving authority on the written request of the firm before the target date of supply / Completion.

5 Cancellation / Penalty of Delay: a If the acceptance of the tender issued during the validity period of the tender is not

acceptable by the tenderer, the earnest money will be forfeited and the stores can be purchased / work can be done at bidder’s risk and cost.

b In case the offer is withdrawn, amended or revised during the validity period of the tender, the earnest money shall be forfeited.

c In case tenderer fails to execute the contract in accordance with the terms & conditions laid down in the contract, the bank guarantee will be encashed and the store will be purchased / work could be at risk and cost of Bidder.

6 Payment to the Contractors: a Payment will be made through crossed cheque to the Bidder against invoice after

100% completion of work; commissioning & satisfactory performance against the Work order for Vocational Training Institute Dunyapur within 30 days after issuance of satisfactory report by the VTI Dunyapur.

b Payment against partial supply will not be made. 7 Earnest Money:

a Earnest money @ at least 3% of the tender i.e. at least Rs.29,400.00 will have to be deposited along with Technical tender. It should be in the form of Pay Order/Bank Draft / Call Deposit in favour of Principal Vocational Training Institute Dunyapur.

b Earnest money shall be refunded on successful completion of supply / work. 8 Delivery / Inspection of stores / Work

The Items / Jobs will be inspected by the VTI through an authorized personnel and will reject the same, if not found according to the given specification.

9 Deduction of Taxes: Any taxes (if applicable) will be deducted while making payment as per Government instructions / notifications.

10 Payment of sales & other taxes, duties, levies: Work shall be made from the firms registered with income / sales tax. Sales and other such taxes, import duty, surcharge and other will be liability of the supplier / bidder.

manufacturer (Principal). c Authorised service centres within the range of 55 KM d Technical / Civil & general Staff Details e Detail of Construction & General Machinery. f Name(s) of Deputed Engineer / (s) for VTI for specific work.

14 Contract Agreement: The Bidder shall within 10 days after Tender opening enter into and execute a contract agreement (to be prepared at the cost of the Bidder).

15 Technical Evaluation: 1. Company will provide their direct and indirect presence list of cities including.

i Support Call Centre ii Address and technical facilities detail in each location.

2. Response / rectification time for complaints handling will be 5 work days (of VTI) after registration of complaint during warranty period. After 5 days, VTI will arrange to rectify the problem at risk and cost of Bidder.

General Conditions

Items procured must be delivered and installed by the bidder. The cost of installation will be borne by the bidder. Bidder may also train one or more of the staff members regarding the use of

machinery and precautionary measures to be adopted. All the transportation expenses will be the responsibility of Bidder.
