Pedestrianisation within the walled area of Tenbyhas been running for a number of years throughoutthe summer months. One of the key aims ofintroducing the scheme was to enhance the visitorexperience and encourage a café culture in Tenby. The main benefits are:

� improved safety for pedestrians wandering thestreets

� a chance to enjoy thehistoric character ofthe town in peace

� an opportunity to introduce pavement cafeswithout traffic noise and fumes

A pedestrianised environment will be introducedwithin the Walled Town from 16 July to 4September between 11.00am and 5.00pm eachday. The two award winning Park & Ride serviceswill operate daily from 10am until 6.00pm.
