THE NIKE RETAIL STORY
FOUNDED BY BILL BOWERMAN AND PHIL KNIGHT IN 1964, THEY OPENED THEIR FIRST RETAIL OUTLET IN 1966 AND LAUNCHED THE NIKE BRAND SHOE IN 1972. THE COMPANY WAS RENAMED NIKE, INC., IN 1978 AND BY THE EARLY 21ST CENTURY, NIKE HAD RETAIL OUTLETS AND DISTRIBUTORS IN MORE THAN 170 COUNTRIES, AND ITS LOGO THE “SWOOSH”—IS ONE OF THE MOST RECOGNIZED BRANDS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD.
THE OPPORTUNITY OF A UNIQUE RETAIL SPACE IN HOMEBUSH WILL BRING NIKE GLOBAL PRODUCTS AND RANGES TOGETHER TO CREATE A WORLD CLASS OUTLET STORE. THIS SPACE WILL PROVIDE A UNIQUE OFFERING TO THE HOMEBUSH CONSUMER BY PROVIDING ELEVATED SERVICES THROUGH SOCCER/FOOTBALL TRIAL ZONE AND TREADMILLS.
THE HOMEBUSH OUTLET STORE WILL PROVIDE A SHOPPING EXPERIENCE AND GIVE CUSTOMERS THE OPPORTUNITY TO TEST AND TRIAL EVERYTHING THAT OUT STORE HAS TO OFFER. IN TRUE NIKE STYLE IT WILL BE INTERACTIVE, INFORMATIVE AND PROVIDE CUSTOMERS WITH A REAL INTERNATIONAL NIKE BRAND EXPERIENCE.
