What Customers Can Expect• Ledbetter and VA Medical Center
stations will be closed for rail service. A bus bridge will provide service between Kiest, VA Medical Center and Ledbetter stations
• Ledbetter Station’s parking lot will be closed
• Lancaster Road, near the station, will be closed to traffic. The detour route is Ledbetter Drive, Bonnie View, Camp Wisdom and Houston School roads (see map)
Making the critical connection between existing and future Blue Line segments will require the de-activation of overhead electrical power lines on Saturday and Sunday (June 18-19) between Kiest and Ledbetter stations. Bus Bridges (shuttle buses) will replace train service both days.
A similar event, the final station closure before official launch of service to Camp Wisdom and UNT Dallas stations, is expected in July. Passengers will be notified in advance of the disruption.

While using the bus bridge, passengers will be asked to take a bus between Ledbetter VA Medical Center and Kiest stations to start or complete their journey. These buses will display a SHUTTLE or LEDBETTER destination sign and load at the red bus stops located at each station.
